The close proximity of the condo to the pool and beach will appeal to guests. No need to pack and carry a cooler for the day. From the pool, you are close to your condo for cool refreshments; and at the pool is direct access to the beach and ocean. Location is everything when you are on your dream vacation, and villa 16 is best in the complex - NO trekking down a steep hill or sweating through a hot parking lot to get to the pool or beach access !!!! You are within only a few feet of the refreshing pool from this prime unit.
ACTIVITIES: St. Thomas offers a myriad of activities for all to enjoy. EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE! For guests who reserve with us, we provide amenities such as cooler, portable chairs, beach towels so that you can be mobile to all the beaches, as well as detailed island activity & dining information/suggestions in email to help plan your vacation in the US Virgin Islands.

ONSITE DINING: Not only can you cook your own meals, but there are 2 oceanfront restaurants are right on-property: Mims Seaside Bistro, and Iggies Oasis. Mim's Seaside Bistro, where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat shrimp (Thurs nights), Caribbean lobster surf and turf, right at the ocean's edge, as well as Iggie's Oasis at Bolongo hotel's swim-up pool bar (sip, dine, swim, sip, repeat - you do need to be dining or sipping to use this pool) - lots of theme nights at Iggies Oasis - the temporary location until Iggies on the beach is rebuilt.
BEST LOCATION: Condominium is located centrally between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook on the south sunny shore of St. Thomas. Charlotte Amalie, known as the Duty-Free shopping capitol of the Caribbean, is a short 10 minutes drive west, and Red Hook is only 8 minutes drive east, where guests can take a person or car ferry to enjoy beautiful St. John within short 20 minutes.
GETTING AROUND: A Rental car is recommended to experience the islands of St. Thomas and St. John most conveniently and economically. Taxis are also an option for getting around.
CLOSEBY U.S. & BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS: St. John , USVI is a must see & is just a short ferry ride via person or car ferry from Red Hook, St. Thomas (No US Passport needed). The British Virgin Islands (BVI's) are also within ferry distance or sailing/snorkeling excursion.
This could be your BEST vacation yet to support our island after the 2017 storms. We do have basic internet in the unit and a DVD player and HDMI for connecting your personal pre-loaded devices to the TV; noting that it's possible that cable TV, phone and high speed unlimited may not be restored by the time of your visit this Spring, but there are hot spots around and AT&T phones work well in St. Thomas for you to tether and mobile hotspot. We have basic Internet for email and some steaming of your subscriptions such as Netflix, Amazon prime, CBS, NBC, etc. We hope for cable and phone restoration by early summer but have already adjusted our rates based on this missing amenity.

Summary: we have vacationed at the condos for 4 years. we always enjoy the pool and location and recommend anyone to stay here. we have been spoiled with past units that had beach accessories and would have loved that but other than that our stay here was very comfy. if

Summary: First and foremost, this place is called Watergate villa, not Playa Linda. The communication could have been better if the host of this condo states that this is the private condo, not the hotel. And give us better communication of how the room access will be. My boyfriend was waiting outside thinking there is a hotel front desk so that he could look for. I did not fly till 2 days later and I was busy with work so I did not help him right away to get with support team of the app Vbro or Expedia. He finally got in and the room is located at bottom floor of apartment complex, the pool is right outside our unit and Mim's restaurant is just walking distance. The room is old but has enough amenities: microwave and fridge are working so that bring us a breeze. The drainage of the bathroom was filthy with a lot of hair. I felt bad for my bf that had to use it for two days before I arrived. I had to use my hands to clear all of those hair so that water was not overflow to the floor of the bathroom. The stay overall is good but could have been better with facts.

Summary: This was exactly what we were looking for! It was a perfect little studio apartment with essentials for the week. We stayed with our little one (brought our own pack and play) and were able to cook some meals in. Breakfast and coffee on the patio was lovely, but watch for the iguanas. They aren't aggressive, but could be quite a shock if you don't see one sneak up for a dropped blueberry or two. This place has the most BEAUTIFUL view! Scott was very responsive when Expedia didn't forward the emails correctly, and he even let us in a little early. I do highly suggest having a car. Other than the 2 restaurants, most things to enjoy on the island are not walkable, including the grocery store. You'll want to visit ALL of the beautiful beaches! There were 2 chairs, a basic cooler, and 3 beach towels to make your beach day a little more enjoyable.

Summary: No beach. all rocks. The unit itself Was definitely not up to what I'm used to in. Microwave was wobbling, the coffee Maker wasn't good. The stove was all crooked cabinets were hanging off. Couldn't open drawers in the dresser rusty. I didn't get to see most of the things that I wanted to see because I couldn't get around. I thought i could get taxis to travel. Not true. I would rent a car for sure even though i don't like driving there. Mims restaurant was good right outside my door. Iggis Restaurant in bolongo was good After leaving i found out alot of things i do different. Including staying somewhere nicer and that has an actual beach. I got locked out of my place because the code wouldn't work About an hour. I called the owner of the unit. Then it worked again

Summary: Location is about half way between Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie so it was great for seeing other parts of the island. I recommend renting a car for this location unless you just want to stay at the resort for your stay—which you could, if you must want to relax and stay put. The studio was good sized and clean. Bed was comfy, AC was an older unit but worked well. WiFi worked fine for us. Property was pretty quiet with beautiful views. A few issues for us were the slider is heavy and the runners were needing some repair to be able to open and close smoothly, the deadbolt on the door was broken, although we felt safe. The kitchen is not well stocked. There were not even hot pads to use with the oven. The dvd player advertised was not there. If you don’t care for the iguanas to come on your patio you’d want to stay on a higher floor. Ground level they will come up to you and even climbed on our table. Also, there are breezes that come up occasionally that carry the smell of the dump across the bay. It’s not a super strong smell but you can smell it, especially if you’re sensitive to strong odors. Food: groceries are very expensive (even local caught fish) so bring a few spices and favorites from home if you can. Cost U Less was best price for groceries by far but was a ways away. Igge’s at Bolongo Bay was good- we went back twice. Mim’s right in front of the patio is good but very expensive. The best seafood we had was at Caribbean Fish Market. All in All we’d go back.

Summary: Wasn't expecting that Iggys was moved...and dive shop closed. Beachfront no longer there. Our condo was great inside but the property is looking a bit worn. Check in and communication was terrific. Comfortable bed, good shower, good AC.

Summary: This property is amazing!! So much more than we expected. The views alone are worth booking! You’re 10 steps from the pool, 10 steps from Mims seaside bistro. Wake up to beautiful sunrises over the ocean. We will book this condo every time it’s available!

Summary: We had a lovely week staying here! My husband is a Viet Nam Vet with a few issues that make him not want to go many places, so he did stay behind a lot! He was comfortable there and could go right over to the pool which is steps away while I went around the island with some friends! Mims restaurant is right there but not too loud and does close fairly early … food there is fabulous! I would recommend this little villa.. it’s cute and comfy! The owner is very attentive and does what he can to rectify any issues that might arise! We hope to be back next year!
