Summary: The lodge is absolutely beautiful. The common rooms are clean, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the feather room. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. We were surprised there was no television. The other guests could be heard walking around the house throughout the evening. If you're not a fan of communal living, this may not appeal to you.

Summary: The common areas were cozy, but the bedroom was missing common things like bedside lamps, a chair and desk, a closet or clothing rack, towel racks in the bathroom. Some items were poorly places like the smoke detector that went off with the steam of the shower, and the thermostat across from the window so if you tried to cool the room the heat went on.

Summary: The fireplace and hot tub were just what we needed after four days at a conference in Montreal. it was so quiet and we were happy there was no TV in the room. The kitchen and dining area were much appreciated too for our breakfast. We would love to return -perhaps a warmer time of year to explore the propery.
