New construction in 2014 and remodeled in 2022, Hawksnest is in a desirable, family friendly neighborhood. Our home is 4200 square feet with three floors of living space, including 6 bedrooms that sleeps 17 comfortably, an outdoor basketball hoop, and a spacious screened in porch overlooking an entertainers patio with a built in gas fire pit, a propane grill, flat top griddle cooker, and.a 7 person Bullfrog spa / Hot tub. Fully equipped with a chef’s kitchen featuring a 6 burner stove, large oven and secondary convection oven and microwave. Just miles from Virginia Tech, downtown Blacksburg, Radford University, downtown Radford, Christiansburg Aquatic Center, the new Huckleberry park, and all your shopping and dining needs. Walk to Target and Walmart right behind our home. Location, Location!
The Huckleberry trail runs right behind the house if you're up for a run or walk, and we’re a 5 minute walk to The Farmhouse restaurant, the Huckleberry park, and Christiansburg Recreation Center, or a fun and scenic bike ride to Virginia Tech and downtown Blacksburg. Our home has the perfect accommodations for your family and friends to celebrate a sporting event, graduation, wedding, and more.
Enjoy the cozy wrap-around front porch. Our spacious home has a basement living/media room with seating for 8, a pool table, bathroom, king bedroom, and full over full bunk. The main floor has an open kitchen-living room concept, as well as a dining room with seating for 8 and an additional living room table with seating for 6. On chilly nights, you can enjoy the fireplace! Also on the main level is a bedroom with a bunk bed for our guests.
Upstairs you will find a large master suite with a king size bed, office, sitting area, and large bathroom. Additionally, upstairs there is a guest bathroom with shower/tub and three guest bedrooms: 2 with queen size beds and 1 with a full over twin bunk.
Our home is warm and inviting with lots of space! Feel free to bring air mattresses if needed, but in addition to the comfortable bedrooms, there are three couches in living spaces with flat screen TV's.
****Please note we are in a family friendly neighborhood. No house parties. We ask that any travelers considering our home please know that you will need to be respectful of our neighbors and the neighborhood. No more than 5 cars are allowed in the driveway. Additional cars may be parked and left overnight up the street at the Christiansburg Recreation Center.

Summary: We traveled to the area for a football weekend w/friends & family. The check-in process was easy and the house was beautiful. It was clean, well stocked and plenty big enough. We would absolutely stay here again. I recommend anyone considering a quick stay in Christiansburg/Blacksburg consider staying here.

Summary: The house was perfect for the celebration of our daughter’s VA Tech graduation. The hosts communicated well and were responsive to our questions. The house is very spacious, clean, and decorated professionally—we felt like we were staying at a resort hotel. The large screened porch was a favorite gathering place and the yards were great for kids to run around and have fun. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a sweet treat and felt welcomed to the hosts home. The location was excellent—groceries, food, Target/Walmart close by and the trip to campus was quick and easy. We hope our next child chooses VA Tech so we have many more opportunities to enjoy this VRBO!

Summary: Jason and Celina were wonderful hosts! We had family traveling in from all over to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Virginia Tech. The home was beautiful, clean, and spacious for our family! We loved gathering in the kitchen, family room, and dining room, which were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms were great, and bathrooms updated. It was a short drive to the VT campus, and we also enjoyed a dinner out in Christiansburg. Highly recommend this gorgeous home!

Summary: There is one word that sums up our experience with this resistance “Perfect”. The hosts are absolutely amazing- so incredibly friendly and accommodating. The home is beautifully decorated and inviting. The layout is awesome with plenty of bedrooms, cozy sitting areas and a lovely kitchen. We spent much of our time sitting on the back deck enjoying the comfortable surroundings - it’s a beautiful neighborhood. We would stay here again and again. Don’t think twice, book it!

Summary: We rented this property with 4 other couples/friends from college for a kids free football weekend. Everyone was impressed with how beautiful the house is! Host was very communicative and helpful. Location is great- convenient access to stores/restaurants in Christiansburg, and a quick 10 minute drive to VT campus. Also right on the Huckleberry- my husband and I went for a run on the trail in the morning. Would definitely rent again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying at Hawksnest. The house is bright, beautiful, and cozy. The location was perfect. Just a quick walk through the backyard to Target for supplies. The host welcomed us with a basket of great snacks. We had 3 families staying the weekend and each family had 2 bedrooms. There was plenty of space in the living areas for 7 kids to play together on Saturday afternoon. I can't imagine a better place for us to stay. Thanks Celina and Jason for being great hosts and for your military service!
