2 Bedroom Apartment in Port Douglas

A lovely beachy vibes unit where privacy is everything! The Apartment is surrounded by trees and tropical gardens. This property is a lovely and quiet 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex with free unlimited WIFI, it has a beautiful coastal feel and consists of a full kitchen, open area dining, lounge and entry. Both bedrooms as well as the main living area have both air con and ceiling fans. This is one of only 2 units in this residential duplex. So if you want privacy, then this unit is a must! Nothing is shared with neighbours other than the driveway!
This unit has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms as well as a laundry which is located in the garage off the main living area. The master bedroom has a king bed with a very large ensuite which includes a large shower cubicle. The 2nd bedroom has both a queen bed and single bed. The main bathroom is very large and has a bath with the shower over the bath. We have free unlimited nbn wifi which is fantastic, as well as a smart tv that you can log into with your own Netflix account.
There is a patio outside with lounge seating as well as a small pool (not heated), big enough to seat the whole 5 guests. You can take a quick dunk and the kids will still love it even though its not a full size pool! There is a clothesline located out the back of the unit.
This apartment is in a very quiet residential area not too far from town. It is just a 25 minute walk to town or a 4 minute drive. You can also walk to the beach in 10 minutes going through the Mirage Resort. I would suggest that you need a car if you are wanting to branch further out of town, however there is very good shuttle services into town and back. Just give them a call and they will pick you up.
As you know Port Douglas is world famous for many attractions, and in particular the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rain Forest. Here's a quick list of other attractions, either in Port Douglas, Cairns or just a day trip away. You will find many great websites where you can book online, otherwise there are plenty of booking offices in town.

Summary: The house was clean, offered us space to stretch out, relax indoors and outdoors, and DO OUR LAUNDRY :) The location was centralized but tucked away from traffic and noise. As such, we bathed in the sounds of nature and enjoyed the birds and other animals around us.

Summary: This is lovely property. Spacious, peaceful and reasonably close to town. The outdoor space is very nicely presented with very comfortable outdoor furniture and a spa ( which unfortunately we didn't use due to the. inclement weather.) An extra bonus to have Foxtel plus lots of extras which we didn't expect. Sharon went out of her way to meet our needs, even purchasing a new DVD player within hours of being informed that the one in the house was not working, thank you Sharon. She was extremely helpful overall and happy to chat and answer questions on the phone. A very detailed house manual was provided plus lots of information regarding restaurants in Port Douglas. We had a lovely stay and the house exceeded our expectations. Thank you, we will be back.

Summary: Having worked in the hospitality industry both public and private sector for many many years,it has been avery long timesince I have come across such a beautifully kept, presented and maintained unit. It had everything needed plus more, the cleanliness of the unit was amazing. I have been away from Port for over twenty years and to walk into the unit felt like I had come home. 5 Star indeed ,it made our holiday staying there. Many thanks , Marg & Ron Hanlon

Summary: Port Douglas is great and the trip was made perfect by this fantastic accomodation. Before I arrived Sharon emailed me all the information I needed. Upon arrival I was greeted with a spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean home for the next week. Everything you would expect and more. The photos don’t do justice to how lovely this place is. The location is a reasonable walking distance to everything but the shuttle services are a bonus if you just want to be picked up from your door and dropped wherever you like in town (SR shuttle actually only charged $3pp rather than their posted $5 from this location which was great value). Contacting the host with queries was easy and I received a quick response. And did I mention the beds? I am usually very fussy but these were amazing. Please Sharon tell me where I can get that wonderful mattress topper! It was truly a comfortable sleep every night! Can’t wait to stay here again next time I go to Port Douglas.

Summary: Fantastic place!!! Amazingly clean, comfortable and it is equipped with everything you could wish for. Newly renovated and decorated beautifully. This is a great property and we would happily visit again. Sharon even went out of her way to purchase a cot and high chair before we arrived so we didn’t need to hire.
