Positive: A really nice apartment, spacious and very clean. Kitchen good but quite basic for cooking utensils - however that is quite standard in hotel apartments in Bansko. Easy to get hold of the host when needed and they were always helpful. Spa included in the price. There is a shuttle bus to lift and ski storage (although very basic). The shuttle driver and the man in the ski rental (which we did not use as had equipment but he unlocked door to boot room and chatted every morning) were amazingly helpful and friendly. There was a lovely view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and my daughter was happy on the sofa bed.
Negative: We have stayed in Bansko a few times. This was the first time in this resort. The apartment is at the top of a hill and then up a few flights of stairs- no lift. We knew there was no lift but after skiing or going into town the climb was a bit off putting- the location is not very central. We understood it was a bit out of town but it was a slightly too far for us without a car and then the hill with shopping. Doable but put us off staying again. Staff in the main hotel were not helpful or friendly- this maybe because we were in an apartment. On arrival, the person on reception was really uninterested and then told us the ski shuttle was around €7 return per person now if not hotel guests. Luckily, no one asked, but this is something future guests may need to be mindful of. Finally- the whole reason for booking this apartment (and a separate one for my friend) was the spa as neither of us ski. The downstairs adult only part is lovely, but the actual pools are very small and full of children. You can not actually swim, and the inside pool was quite run down. None of this is the apartment owner's fault - the apartment is great. However , the hotel sells itself as a spa hotel, and it was really underwhelming. For this reason we would not stay again.

Positive: Very clean, comfortable and very well situated. It is easy to take the keys from the reception, perfect for families with children. The kitchen is very well furnished.
Negative: As the apartment is in the last building, there is no easy access for the car and you have to bring the luggage a little bit longer than expected.
