A comfortable 3 bedrooms (4 beds), 2 bath home with all modern amenities located in the Stella Maris Resort Development on Long Island Bahamas. The home is furnished with java stained wood, dining for 4, 3 comfortable queen sized and one single bed, and plenty of desks for writing that new novel. The decor includes natural stone walls, Caribbean style furniture, and the property has a beautiful yard and garden with spectacular ocean views & sunsets from a private observation deck. Don't miss the famous green flash!

Walk to the beach, ocean-rock pools, secluded love beaches, or swimming pools... there is plenty of world-class beaches within arms-reach, and dining or night-life close by. The unique man-made ocean rock pool on the Stella Maris Estate is a fully enclosed rock pool where the ocean flows into and is a must see.

The home has full dining-room, living-room, and breakfast area in an open floor-plan. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things you need to prepare all your meals and the living room has a large flat-screen TV perfect for movie nights. The master bedroom has a connecting bathroom and both bedrooms are spacious, have views of the garden, air conditioning, large comfortable beds, and classy writing desks.

Summary: The property is clean nice and well kept and spacious. Very close to the airport. Short walk to the beach and to the Stella Maris resort bar and restaurants. The property manager Karin was the best! She was always a phone call away and made sure that we got the most out of what Long Island had to offer. I can't stress how important this is with an out island vacation. With her help we had no trouble finding all of the good stuff.

Summary: As with our last stay at this property, Karin made this a pleasant stay and helped with logistics associated with our flying into the island on a private aircraft and needing to arrange for a vehicle rental. This spacious property is in a great location that was quiet, and easy to access attractions around the island. Highly recommend this property to others!

Summary: The house was very spacious, good furniture thorughout, 2 bedrooms with 2 very comfortable King size beds, two living rooms - one with 2 additional single beds, 2 bathrooms with toilets and showers. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and dining room and ceiling fans throughout the house. Fast internet and flat screen TV in the lounge. Large garden and stair leading to the house roof. Close to the Stella Maris complex, available swimming pool and natural sea water rock carved pools. We had a great time in Long Island, the house is well placed for the amenities and places to see in the north of the island (Cape S maria, Hog Cay, etc.) and about 1 hour drive to the southern places to see (Dean's Blue hole, Clarence town, etc.). The island is fantastic and there's a lot to do and see, a car is recommended if you want to see all the beautiful sights. The house careteaker was very kind, helpful and welcoming. She helped us in every possible way to enjoy our fantastic vacation. I would definitely go back to the Bahamas and to this house again.

Summary: We had a great stay, and our host was super-helpful in providing detailed guidance on local attractions, as well as arranging a Reef Fishing trip. Once we found our way around the island, this property was easy to get back to, and was ideally located for trips to the airport (just 5 min away), and most attractions.

Summary: The house was as expected with nice large bedrooms, kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal, WIFI and any creature comforts needed during your stay. The location is great, just a few moments off of queens highway and very close to the Stella Maris airport. It is on the North end so it is close to Columbus Monument, Cape Santa Maria Resort, Seymour's, Coral Gardens (just to name a few) and many other opportunities to explore the island and immerse yourself in the local culture. The property manager took the time to meet us at the airport, brought us to the house and went over everything that we needed to know during our stay. I highly recommend asking property manager about local opportunities for excursions and rentals and they will be happy to point you in the right direction. Thank you very much for your hospitality and we look forward to the next time we are on the island.

Summary: Ernest place was the perfect choice, we were impressed with the home and the location was great! The bedrooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the beaches of Stella Maris and Cape Santa Maria (truly spectacular). The house was exactly as it appeared in the photos (actually larger than photos) and it had everything we needed to enjoy our trip to Long Island in comfort and feel at home. We have been to the island several times and think this was the best! We look forward to returning to Ernest Place for our next visit, to write the book. Thanks Ernest! Maria and Family
