Come, sit back, relax, and live on “reel” time in this one-of-a-kind Cypress Bend Lake House. This house is located just 1 mile from the Cypress Bend Golf Resort on Turtle Beach Cove. This house is perfect for lounging around and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. The wharf sits on one of the biggest white perch holes in Toledo Bend.
The Cypress Bend Lake House is a 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, 2,132 square foot home with all the amenities for a large group or family. It is fully furnished and has breathtaking views from the wall-to- wall windows in the living room. The living room also comes with a stone fireplace and a big screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils and tableware needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is even a coffee bar for those in need of a little caffeine to get their day started off right. Off of the kitchen are the ½ bath and a washer and dryer closet equipped with detergent for your convenience. The large master is located downstairs with 2 queen beds, a whirlpool/shower combo, and a large walk-in closet. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, containing 2 full-size and 2 queen-size beds, and a bathroom equipped with a large, spacious shower.
The main highlight to the Cypress Bend Lake House is the outdoor entertainment available for your use. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset from the porch, have a barbeque on the pit, or a bonfire on the custom stone fire pit on the property near the water. You can fish or swim right off of the wharf, but don’t forget to rinse off on the wharf’s outdoor shower when you are done. Love fishing? Not to worry. You can launch your boat at the nearby Cypress Bend boat launch. After a long day of fishing, just store your boat in one of the two covered, electronic boat lifts. Cleaning your fish won’t be a problem at the large, custom, stainless steel fish cleaning station located at the end of the wharf. You can also enjoy a nice round of golf at the Cypress Bend Golf Resort, or head to Toledo Town to visit the local eateries or tackle shop.

Summary: I booked this place hoping it would accommodate 6-8 men with our own space. This place was so much more than that. It’s secluded on 4 acres of beautiful water access. The dock and lifts are perfect for the boats we brought. They have enough seating for an army inside and out. And each and every person on the trip had a full belly and a full heart when we left which was the goal. Thanks guys we will be back again.

Summary: Great house on a beautiful property. House is always clean and comfortable. Great location on lake for fishing. Pier with dual boat lift and fish cleaning setup is an appreciated bonus. Looking forward to returning later this year.

Summary: This was the 3rd time we have stayed at this location. The view is amazing, house is clean, everything you need, wildlife around, simple check in/check out and good fishing. They could update the mattresses in the house. But this place is amazing!!!

Summary: I am a former host for VRBO and similar that held a 5 Star rating as a Premere Host for years, so I feel confident in the statement below and still gave them a good rating because it was a good trip. This property has a ton of Pros and Cons. I don't want to bash the property or the owners, but everyone should be aware of what they are booking as the listing doesn't give enough detail. I'm sure they will have some sort of response trying to justify whatever may offend them but this is the truth. Cons: 1. The owner had sent us the welcome package a couple days before the trip explaining that the internet was "spotty at best". When we arrived the Satellite internet didn't work at all. We had one person in our group that had an online class for 3 hours a day. When we reached out to the owner they suggested we reset the modem, which we had already done before contacting them multiple times. When asked if there was anything else that could be done we received no response. 2. They have Dish TV service for the living room which worked fine however the only other TV is in the Master and Dish didn't work but had the same response from the owner as above until they didn't respond. We also only have one bar on 4 different cell carriers. Enough for a phone call but no data. 3. The house has several maintenance issues that need to be addressed from paint, spiders, bugs, doors not working, ect. 4. Most of the exterior lights on the house and dock do not work. I'm guessing bulbs. 5. They do have a DVD player but no DVD's or remote we could find. 6. Charcoal grill was gross but after we bought everything to clean it, it was okay. 7. We were a group of 5 guys for 8 nights and were only supplied a couple trash bags, 2 dishwasher tabs (one of which you are required to use at check-out), two laundry tabs, and a roll of paper towels. Yes, I'm sure it's just a starter pack. Pros: 1. The location is amazing! This is Mid-Lake so you can get anywhere quickly for the size of lake. 2. The dock was super nice for our fishing trip with a ramp on the other side of the cove and the boat lift was perfect. 3. The house is located in Turtle Beach Cove and the fishing is good. 4. If you are wanting an escape from civilization, this is the place. I hope this helps future renters and gives the owners some direction on making this place a better experience.

Summary: The Cypress Bend house was perfect for our long weekend away for a high school fishing tournament. House was clean and stock with all the kitchen items we could have ever needed. The views were stunning!! Property owner was easy and quick with any communications we had. Definitely would recommend.

Summary: Overall, this was a great rental, feel like you have a large cove of the lake all to yourself! The only thing that needs attn is the multitude of mosquitoes in the house and the pier, dock and fish house needs serious attn for spiders everywhere, have never seen so many webs and spiders, not able to access the swing, sink or picnic table area it was so badly infested!
