Summary: We got married in Tappahannock the weekend of December 21. I rented this property for my bride and her bridesmaids to stay and get ready in the night/day of our wedding and then we stayed at the house an extra day after. The property has amazing views of the river and tons of space. The home is dated, however it is shown through the pictures in the listing. We would rent this property again. The owners were great to work with!

Summary: My family and I came to the area to spend Thanksgiving with my son. This property was the perfect place for our family. We loved being on the river and watching the sunrises in the morning. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. Scott was easy to get a hold of. We would definitely stay there again!

Summary: Was providing a place for son and friends to try to complete 2 legs of their paddle from Fredericksburg to the Chesapeake. Very nice house. 14 year old granddaughter enjoyed the basement pool table.

Summary: Such a beautiful view and plenty of space inside and outside of this lovely home. We have been renting for several years and always look forward to going back. Quickest two weeks of the year! Love it there.

Summary: This river home was truly a gift to my family. The location is beautiful, the house is cozy and has everything you need to settle in and feel at home. The house is so much bigger than it looks in pictures and there are so many rooms that you can spread out and relax easily. The dock was great and the beach you get at low tide was a favorite for me and my son. I hope to get to come back to this house one day for another stay! The host was also great with communication!

Summary: My husband and I fell in love with this home we didn’t stay long enough so we will be staying again in the near future our host Scott was awesome Everything we needed was there the home is very roomy for my family and friends 9 of us, the yard is beautiful, right on the water I just can’t wait to stay there again, the location is great near all restaurants and Walmart, my friends are still talking about this house as well… Scott thank you for your generosity you’re a great host
