Our completely furnished family friendly 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath home will stun you with it’s spectacular views of Lake Huron. With approximately 100+/- feet of lake frontage located in the backyard, you can take in the breath taking sunset every night all in the privacy of your own home. Kayaks are available for any renter to explore up and down the lake shore, as well as a grill for you to utilize when it’s time to show off your grilling skills. A beautiful Eastern Cottonwood tree resides on the property which gives shade for children to play and for all to take a break from the sun. Guests will appreciate the warmth of the knotty pine/cedar walls and hard wood floors which makes one feel like they are nestled away in a log cabin. Wifi and cable are up and running to keep you connected to the outside world. During the summer there is a farmers market which happens every Saturday morning that will be great for you to pick up your fresh produce you will want to cook later that night in the fully equipped kitchen. Summary: Loved our vacation at the cottage. Everything was clean and very homey. The owners were wonderful. I couldn’t get the garage opened and Kevin drove out with his wife and took care of it. The beach is beautiful and peaceful. Definitely going next year and going to try for weeks.👍🏻☺️

Summary: We’ve vacationed many times in the Port Austin and Caseville areas. This cottage by far is a favorite! The pictures and description in the listing are accurate. We love how shallow the water is. Walking out in knee deep to waist deep water for a hundred yards or more is great! The kids (ages 12, 11, and 6) swam constantly, taking breaks to eat, sleep, and paint rocks. We loved our week at this cottage! We hope we get to come back again next summer.

Summary: Our family has made treasured memories at this wonderful cottage. You just can’t beat Port Austin and Lake Huron. This cottage is so beautiful and beach is equally gorgeous. The hosts are so awesome and our stays have been so easy to check in and out. We hope to make this a vacation for our family for years to come!

Summary: Our stay was great. I always bring my own cleaning supplies when I stay in a VRBO....those supplies stayed in my car. The cottage was so clean. In addition to the cleanliness, the dishes, cooking pots and pans, utensils and linens were not an afterthought. Everything was top notch. The view from the deck is incredible and the sunsets were beautiful. We will keep this rental on our list of places to return.

Summary: This cottage was perfect for my husband and adult children. We all loved the yard with a sandy area as well as shady grassy area. It was great for yard games and relaxing in the hammock. There were kayaks, a paddle boat, bean bag toss and plenty of yard chairs. The large deck and picnic table are perfect for outdoor meals and games. Caseville is just a short drive away. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you would need. We enjoyed our time in Port Austin.

Summary: The house was perfect for families with small children. We had a week of great beach sand, if the children didn't want to be down by water, plenty of yard sand to play in. Suggest water shoes , some small rocks at edge of water, after getting over the rocks, shallow water for a distance & very sandy. The deck is spacious & ate most meals outside on picnic table. The large trees gave plenty of coverage from sun when needed. Loved using the kayaks, plenty of sand toys & beach chairs. Enjoyed the fire pit on several nights, roasting marshmallows (roasting sticks provided). The kitchen had everything needed for our meals, plenty of pots & pans, cookie sheets, utensils. Beds are comfortable, bath towels high quality. The half bath entrance outside certainly helped when at the beach, saved alot of sand not getting in house. Only one suggestion, a road signage for house address. Thank you for sharing her home with us.
