Summary: Overall condition of older cottage is very good. Fridge, stove and all other ammenities are good. View of the Ottawa river is spectacular. Steps down to dock not recommended for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Only negative issue is the bed in main bedroom - very uncomfortable. Location of cottage next to town of Arnprior regarding shopping, restaurants etc. is a bonus.

Summary: Overall, very good time. Furniture is dated, bed in Master bedroom requires more than a foam topper to prevent my husband and I from rolling towards centre. Windows difficult to open with many dead insects. Otherwise, well appointed and yes, incredible sunrises and sunsets.

Summary: We were very pleased with our week long visit at your cottage! It was exactly as described in your advertisement. We enjoyed all that the cottage had to offer, but really felt rejuvenatedby the view of the open water from all the main windows. We felt like we were at the sea! We recommend it highly for a not-fussy, cozy family get away!

Summary: We had an amazing stay here for our honey moon. The location is amazing being just minutes from town while being right on the river. The swimming is great - nice sandy bottom and very calm most days. The sunrises and sunsets were my favourite and I was determined not to miss any. Check in and check out was super easy and the hosts very friendly and accommodating. We loved this spot and it made for some great memories and the perfect start to our forever.
