2 Bedroom Cottage in Leicester

Quiet little camp on the North End Point of Fern Lake that has just been renovated. Two small but quaint bedrooms both have queen beds. A wonderful 32’ four season porch with a sofa bed, bar and hightop table and games. This leads out onto a beautiful deck all facing the lake.
Newly tiled walk-in shower. Large kitchen with plenty of seating at the table fully furnished with everything that you might need for your vacation with the exception of food. A great fire pit on the patio. Outside there are two flat levels to play yard games. Large sun deck to get that great tan. Great fishing off the dock. Also there is a picnic table and a large gas grill to cook up that perfect steak at the end of the day.
the lake is perfect for floating however depending on the time of year the water level in front of our camp can range from 5’- 9’. You might want to bring water shoes after all this is a lake in VERMONT and the bottom tends to be mucky -
Yard games, kayaks, life jackets, some firewoodare all on site. Wi-Fi , Smart TV, Towels,linens and bedding are clean and fresh for you to use.
Near by is a great Pizza & Ice-cream place called Kampersville Deli. It is also near my Favorite -Paddlers Pub. Neshobe Golf club is also close by.
20 minutes from Middlebury, 40 minutes to Rutland, hour to most ski resorts such as okemo, Middlebury snowbowl, and killington
This Camp is great year round weather pending
Relaxing time no matter what time of year!!
Perfect place to stay for leaf peepers
** Garage and upper levels not part of the rental.
!! We do have security cameras but they are turned off once guests check in and while guests are here and are automatically turned on at 11:00 for check out

Summary: The camp was exactly what I expected and Tammie was very responsive to any/all questions. We used the property as home base for family weekend at Middlebury. It was very convenient, and positioned well between Middlebury and Brandon. I hope to get up there again to enjoy the camp and the lake again soon.

Summary: Such a nice quiet spot! The camp was very well appointed; lots of pots and pans, linens, toys for the kids, etc. And the lake was lovely! We hope we get a chance to come back!

Summary: Perfect, private, we’ll stocked lake house retreat. The lake is quiet, the house and amenities are very thoughtful (including fixings for making s’mores), fully stocked kitchen, playground for kids, outside fire pit with wood supply. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Kayaking on the lake was so relaxing, and Tammy was communicative and available by text or phone.

Summary: The owners are very thoughtful and this is a lovely home on a nice little lake. The cottage's location on the water in a semi-secluded cove adds to the peace and quiet. They have lots of toys and games for adults and kids, and the fire pit is a perfect place to relax at the end of a fun day at Camp Run-A-Muck. We loved our stay and would definitely go back!
