Positive: Location for our destinations of Middlebury & Rutland ... middle of the road to both. Peaceful but, town shuts down at 9pm on weekends so zero nightlife to be found.
Negative: Access to region can be overwhelming and congested. Had a mouse 🐁 say Hi 👋🏻 in kitchen. Outside garbage overflowing with Corona glass bottles and patio covered in bottle caps & weeds overgrowing the patio and waterway so no outside lounging like we thought. Lil smaller in person than pictures but, served our needs....no ice 🧊 Needs to have ice trays for freezer since no water running to fridge.
Summary: Sleep and shower in quite cottage for small family 5 with basic needs.

Positive: Location is great. The house is renovated and well equiped. It has 2 bedrooms for adults and one bedroom for children. We went hiking around the Green Mountain area and our stay was nice.
