R&R Ranch is a rustic, historical property located in Buffalo, TX, Leon County. This leisure ranch can be yours for a day or a week to enjoy a little rest and recreation, go fishing, play Ping Pong. throw darts or horseshoes. Sit under a Palapa next to the water. Play Air Hockey or Arcade Games. Enjoy S'mores by the fire pit. Sit on the deck and watch the sunset. You can walk around the 17- acre recreation lake and explore 67 beautiful acres. Perfect for large gatherings, family reunions, weddings, Quinceañeras, and corporate retreats. You and your guests will have EXCLUSIVE use of the Pavilion, Lakehouse, and Swimming Pool. There is a Ranch Manager on property, in his own separate house, but available to attend to your every need. This leisure ranch is located between Dallas and Houston off I-45, making it a great halfway destination. Beautiful views abound in the Lakehouse which is perfectly situated to give you panoramic lake views for your morning coffee on the front porch sitting in a rocker. The fully stocked kitchen in the Lakehouse is open to family room with views of the lake. The Lakehouse sleeps 8. The nearby Event Pavilion sleeps 2, with a kitchen available for caterers, or to bring in fully cooked food. No cooking in the Pavilion, but it can accommodate 75 seated guests for an additional per person fee. (There is a Loghouse in close proximity
with hot tub and bunkhouse that can also be rented when available - VRBO 2251999. )
Life vests must be worn on the lake and are available at no charge. EVENTS MUST BE APPROVED AND AN EXTRA EVENT CHARGE OF $150 IS INCURRED FOR MORE THAN 15 GUESTS ON PROPERTY, AND $300 FOR MORE THAN 40 GUESTS ON PROPERTY. Events require additional event insurance.

Summary: We had a great time. Property manager was very attentive, they helped us with everything we needed. The lake is full of bass, fun time fishing. The kids really enjoyed the games in the lodge. We will definitely be back.

Summary: The Event Center was extremely spacious (at about 40’x70’), with 5 round tables and 2 large dining tables providing plenty of room for eating, puzzles, playing cards and other games. There was also ping pong, air hockey, foosball, bar room shuffleboard, darts, and a video game console, plus lots of other open floor space. In front outside was a large deck, long enough to accommodate our cornhole boards, or just for sitting. At the back end was a large shady deck with rocking chairs looking out over the water, that usually had a cool lake breeze, and where the fish always seemed to be biting. The kitchen was set up for catering, with a large serving island, and other portable folding tables for holding food, which was great because that was where we had all our snacks and food for light lunches. The attached bedroom was quite roomy, with a large full bathroom. There were really nice bathrooms outside as well, between the covered patio, the pool, and the lake for easy access. We brought our own pool floats for the large lake, which worked out well. The Lake House just up the hill was very comfortable, with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, which was nice. The living/dining area was adequate, since we didn’t congregate much there, but the kitchen was used to do all our cooking. It also had a large laundry/utility room, and 2 covered double carports for parking. We will definitely consider renting this facility again another year and have already recommended it to other friends for their family gatherings or events. It is genuinely nice, with a laid-back country flavor.

Summary: Property was exactly what you see in the pictures! The couple that manages the property were extremely attentive to our needs and would stop by and visit with us. Game house is a lot of fun and everything was working (no broken paddles, etc). If you decide to cook, their supplies are limited so bring what you need and there is not a grill. Pool was very warm and could have been cleaner but the cabana always had a nice breeze so we would go from the pool to the cabana. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Lake was great for fishing and paddleboards/kayak...we brought our own but you can pay to rent for 4 hours at a time. Life jackets were free and in good working condition. Will definitely stay here again!

Summary: We were a party of about 20 at any given time. Beautiful place. The ranch managers were friendly, accomidating, and amazing host. The kids, teens, and adults all had such a great time. Most of the time was spent around the lake and in the pavillion. We loved the room for every one to spread out and have fun. Even the dogs had a great time. We will definate have family gatherings here again!
