Positive: The house was close to everything. The private backyard with the firepit. Vacasa representative promptly answered all our questions.
Negative: I'm not sure how big the water heater tank is but it could be a challenge if several people taking a shower at the same time. Couple frying were not in the good shape and could be replaced

Positive: Lovely location and the lodge is a great size with plenty of room to move around comfortably. Everything you could possibly need is there and easy to use. I would highly recommend this lodge and with any luck I will be returning in the future.

Positive: Waternook lodge is a wonderful location for a peaceful break. The lodge itself is beautifully furnished, with each room spacious and well appointed. The beds are extremely comfortable and due to the quiet location of the lodge within the park, a good night’s sleep is a guarantee. When we arrived, the lodge was absolutely spotless, and cleaned to a very high standard. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for a self-catering break, and we were able to quickly settle in. The park itself has a nice restaurant and leisure facilities and the location is very close to motorway links and perfect for connecting with local attractions. The nearby town of has many amenities such as shops and takeaways. It is clear that the owners of Waternook Lodge take great pride in their holiday home, and it feels like a privilege to stay there for the duration of your stay.
Negative: The only small element to call out would be that you cannot drive up to the lodge when you first arrive. You have to park at the leisure centre and then walk to the lodge to collect your keys and the fob for the barrier. This isn’t a huge inconvenience but on the night we arrived there was heavy rain and not having the walk through the park would have been nice.
Summary: Comfortable, cosy, extremely enjoyable short break location.

Positive: the size and lay out of the property are excellent. my mum has mobility issues so sometimes struggles getting about in a caravan especially in the bedrooms but this lodge was ideal for her. the bedrooms were really spacious as well as the living areas.
Negative: we struggled to find it the first day I’ll be honest but once we figured out the area on the map we were able to locate it.
Summary: it’s a great space for getting together with family for a simple, relaxing couple of days.
