Summary: The cabin was very nice. Back in the woods and very secluded. Kids loved the playground, parents made bonfires every night. Make sure to bring a lighter and newspaper to start your fires. We had 6 people in our group in it accommodated all of us comfortable. Our girls (4 and 6 year olds) slept in the twin bed in the little nook right by the king bed upstairs. Our other 2 guests stayed in bed downstairs. Another nice feature it’s about half mile away from Nolin Lake Damm and they got a nice steam and playground on the bottom side of the damm. It’s about 30 minute drive to Mammoth Cave visitor center which we didn’t mind. It’s is a dry county so remember to pick up alcohol which would be about 20 miles away or just do what we did and pick it up off the Cave City Exit off I-65. Lots of hiking trails near by close to Nolin Lake. So all in all we really loved our stay.

Summary: If you're looking for a beautiful, convenient place to stay in the Mammoth Cave area, this place is for you! Our family loved hanging at the camp fire at night. Mornings were peaceful while sitting on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the birds. There is a dam just a couple of minutes down the road with a playground and picnic area. Great spot to explore! I highly recommend making reservations as soon as you can, you won't be disappointed!

Summary: We stayed here to visit Mammoth Cave National Park and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s a very easy 30 minute drive to the visitor center and there is no traffic. The cabin sits way off the road, it felt very private, safe and clean! It was the perfect some for two parents and their two kids with plenty of sleeping arrangements (including a cool Murphy bed) and a comfortable king sized bed. The kitchen was clean, everything was well-stocked and the temperature inside the cabin was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well, with a large tub. The property has a nice fire pit with comfortable chairs and aging lights surrounding fire area. We had fun making s’mores. We didn’t use the covered area that’s part of the property but it looked really fun as well. Can’t go wrong with this place! Super fun.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed the Redbird Cabin as a home-base while we spent several days exploring Mammoth Cave - both cave tours and hiking. The cabin was spotless, cute and comfy. We especially enjoyed evenings at the fire pit. Redbird couldn’t be any nicer!!
