Glenview Alpaca Farm is a 25 acre working property located in Bango, NSW approximately 10 Kms from Yass in the Southern Tablelands. The Property has the permanent Derringullen Creek as a boundry, we are surrounded by green rolling hills and adjoining sheep farms. We currently have 25 Alpacas, Dorper Sheep, Bee Hives using the Flow Hive Method, Free Range Hens and Ducks. Guests will be welcome to join in and help with feeding the animals, note there is currently birds nesting near the Cottage.

Summary: Joy and Kerry are welcoming and hospitable hosts. We had all conveniences taken care of and the absolute bonus of being invited onto their farm to interact with them and their animals. Both me and my son loved our stay and would recommend it to fellow travellers.

Summary: Glenview Alpaca farm is a perfect place for an overnight stop. The hostess, Joy, is a delight and very helpful. The setting is perfect for a peaceful stopover. The garden is like a fairyland at night as the lights come on. We went for a couple of walks along the local road to a gorgeous little stream.

Summary: Joy and Kerry are very friendly and accommodating. From the moment we arrived Joy was over to explain how everything worked. There were eggs from the farm for our breakfast as well as other snacks including biscuits, pasta, muffins and jam. In the morning, the kids experienced brushing goats and meeting the Emus and Alpacas. Joy had many a story to tell. Overall, I cannot recommend Joy and Kerry's hospitality any higher.

Summary: We stayed as 2 grandkids and ourselves. Beautiful clean accom with everything needed. Joy was really accommodating with our grandchildren. Their experience is a lasting memory. Lots of knowledge and a very caring lady. Thankyou Joy.

Summary: We stayed here during the Irish music festival in Yass and my goodness the kids had a blast. The hosts Joy and Kerry could not be more welcoming and helpful if they tried and the animals are very gentle with the children. The cabin was cosy despite the weather and there was a cubby house and HUGE trampoline that kept the kids entertained for hours. They provided plenty of food and snacks and it was very serene and lovely. Even the rooster was very thoughtful with his crowing and we all slept like logs. There were so many lovely little touches in this place it was honestly a joy to stay there. Communication was also great. Thank you for a lovely weekend that I'm sure the kids will remember for a long time!

Summary: Joy is a welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable host. The cottage was clean, cosy and well-stocked, and our boys loved feeding the animals, brushing the goats, meeting Charlie the emu, Fritz the rooster and Raj the peacock. Highly recommended!!

Summary: We enjoyed our short stay here & couldn’t recommend it more highly. The cottage was spotlessly clean & all of the little extras provided by the generous side hosts were greatly appreciated. It was wonderful to see such well cared for animals & we enjoyed meeting them. It was a cosy space even in chilly weather. We left with fresh free range eggs & honey from the farm. Thank you Joy & Kerry, you are great hosts. We will be returning.

Summary: We received such a warm welcome on arrival and were shown where everything was, the cottage was so well provisioned and comfortable - the farm eggs were an absolute highlight. The bed was comfy, the heaters warmed us quickly and at night it was so peaceful. Our hosts recommended a terrific place for a meal a short drive away in Yass. We enjoyed meeting the array of animals and experiencing a taste of farm life, such a joy for the younger ones and really interesting for us. The kids enjoyed playing on the trampoline, cubby, and with the very friendly dog and cat. We awoke to pretty vistas and local birdlife on a frosty morning. We could have easily spent a few days relaxing here but alas we were on a one-night stopover so we'll come back for a longer visit next time. This farm stay is only a short drive from the Hume Hwy and made for a much nicer and quieter overnight stop than a motel. The hosts clearly adore their animals and love having visitors so will make you feel very welcome - we highly recommend a visit!
