5 Bedroom House in La Porte

Hot tub will remain open all year round. Added a brand new two person infrared indoor sauna as well.
Backyard seclusion overlooking a heated pool and apple and peach orchard. We keep the pool about 86 degrees until around Thanksgiving time then we shut it down and reopen in early Mid-Late April.
The batting cage and baseball diamond are a treat along with a rock climbing wall, indoor half-basketball court, movie theater, outdoor basketball hoop, kids playground, swimming in the heated pool or lounging in the hot tub - both salt water systems so less chemicals.
Dining room table seats 10-12 and there are comfy couches in the living/dining/kitchen areas to chat. The most comfiest couch ever that holds over 14 people on it with an oversized 90 inch flatscreen TV with surround sound. This couch also doubles as a bed that will sleep 2 adults and/or 4 children very comfortably.
Or venture into the finished heated pole barn that houses a gigantic 40 foot movie screen with surround sound. Play on the rock climbing wall. Or let your kids play various large and small toys like an indoor jungle gym.
Short drive to Pine Lake, and Stone Lake Public Beach just under 2 miles away. You can rent pontoon boats for Pine Like, hit up the beaches while you are there, or enjoy the various hiking trails. Our kids love to catch frogs on the property and go hiking/fishing/swimming at Stone Lake.
Newly remodeled bathrooms throughout the house as well as 80% of house has been newly renovated. Safe. Super Clean. And you won't see any neighbors - it's a private space. NO PETS ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE/GARAGE/POLE BARN. Pets are only allowed if they are kept outside.
Fire table on upstairs patio and another wood fire pit on property. * Propane tanks are supplied, however you may need to refill at gas station if needed for the fire pit(s) or the Blackstone 36 inch Griddle.

Summary: The property was beautiful and all of the amenities were as described. There was so much to do. The grandkids loved the pool’s water slide and the activity barn. The adults loved the hot tube and the grounds. It was a funtime for everyone.

Summary: We had a great time. The heated pool and slide kept both kids and adults busy for hours. Rock wall was great as was the batting cage. Only disappointment were the 5 empty propane tanks. For the price it would have been nice if we could use the black stone for burgers. There were no instructions at the property for anything. Not even a contact to reach the owner.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The pictures online are exactly what you get at the home, which sometimes doesn't always apply. The pool was a HUGE hit with all the kids ranging from 12-15 and the parents as well. We didn't realize that the slide was a water slide which was an added bonus (you turn on or off the water for the slide which was nice). The hot tub worked GREAT and was also a big hit. The property is located sooo close to Pine Lake, so we were able to rent a pontoon boat for the afternoon and then headed back home for more pool time. The pole barn was great for basketball as all the kids loved playing indoor bball when the weather wasn't the best. The basement was the teens favorite hangout for movies and chilling-great space. The only downside was access to the pole barn was hindered by wasp nests/wasps as well as under the deck. We alerted the owners and they said they'd take care of it-so hopefully the next family that visits won't have that issue. It didn't keep the kids from trying to get into the pole barn. They have a golf cart you can use to roam around the property which is an added feature. We would definitely return to this location as we wished we could have explored Pine Lake more with more time.

Summary: We had a great time in La Porte. House is beautiful and very clean. Pool was awesome! It was a bit cool, but with the pool being heated we could still use it. The property is beautiful, we saw deer a few times. Watched movies at night in the pool barn. Jason responded quickly to questions. Thank you!

Summary: We stayed at Jason’s place for a summer vacation, three small families of cousins. The Property is vast and private, there is so much to do on the property that one day at least half of us didn’t even leave the property the whole day! The owner is a great communicator and is happy to help you with anything throughout the day. The pool is amazing and both the adults and kids spent many hours a day in the pool. The rooms are tastefully decorated. There are so many different places in the house where people can congregate, the dining room, the kitchen, the downstairs entertainment area, the pool/back deck, and the pole barn. We had a great time, and I hope we can come back! We’ve stayed at many VRBOs over the years, but I know the kids will all be asking for this place again and again!
