Welcome to the Hidden Bay Cottage. Get away from it all at this tucked-away treasure that has the conveniences of Seeleys Bay just 5 minutes down the road.
Enjoy the Rideau waterway from Jones Falls to Upper Brewers without locking through, visit Rock Dunder, Hotel Kenney, or Haskins Point for a swim. We supply a canoe and paddleboat or launch your own boat minutes away at Seeleys Bay public launch. There are also boats to rent at the local marinas where you can stock up on bait and tackle.
The space is a very relaxing spot on the Rideau Canal located approximately 30 minutes northeast of Kingston and 20 minutes north of Gananoque and the 1000 Islands. Inside the cottage you will find 2 bedrooms, a small living room with a pull out futon that could sleep 2 people, 1 bathroom, a dining room, and a full kitchen. Outside you will find a gas bbq grill, a gazebo that covers a patio to relax and enjoy the water views, along with another patio with a fire pit, and a large dock to soak up some sun, tie your boat up to, or cast a line in. The cottage can sleep 4-6 comfortably. There is a 65 inch HD smart Tv and Wifi.

Summary: This has been one of the best rentals I've ever been to. The small details to everything located within the place was amazing, ex the shelves on the headboard so I can put my glasses. The dock was very nice. Everything was very clean. The shower worked well, towels were very soft. The communication was excellent. 10/10

Summary: The property was exactly as pictured, actually better than the pictures. Very clean in a quiet location with great views looking out from the living room, sitting on the patios or from the wrap-a-round deck. Tried fishing off the dock and caught something on almost every cast, unfortunately the biggest was maybe 6 " LOL. I am sure fishing would be great if you bring a boat. The only negative item, and it is a personal issue, was the shower. As my wife and I are seniors, we would have really liked to have grab bars in the shower for safety. Had I paid a little more attention to the details in the pictures, I would have realized there were no grab bars. Overall a definite 5. The few questions we had were answered quickly by Elena.

Summary: A beautiful property. Very scenic and everything was clean and as described. There was lots of room for three people. Beds comfortable and all necessities supplied. Hosts were very responsive. We did find the internet slow and the streaming tv had very spotty service. However the view and the quiet were wonderful so we didn’t miss screen time. Highly recommend

Summary: A friend and I stayed 3 nights to celebrate our recent retirement from work. It was a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage was well equipped with a nicely stocked kitchen. There are various areas to sit outdoors and we enjoyed sitting down at the dock. Unfortunately the waterfront is weedy so it’s not suitable for swimming but since the weather was cooler it wasn’t an issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Thank you very much Elena.
