Welcome to Our Portage Lakes Retreat!
Our charming home comfortably accommodates up to six guests with three cozy bedrooms: a king bed, a queen bed, and two twin beds.
Sleeping Arrangements:
King Bedroom: Located upstairs for ultimate privacy, featuring a full bathroom (towels, bed sheets, and pillows provided).
Queen and Twin Bedrooms: Situated on the main level, adjacent to the living room, and sharing a full bathroom.
Living Space:
Relax in our spacious living room, complete with a large sectional couch, a love seat, and a 55-inch smart TV equipped with all your favorite streaming apps.
Kitchen:
Our fully stocked kitchen includes plates, utensils, and a brand new Black and Decker 12-cup coffee maker (coffee and filters provided). Enjoy your coffee on the deck overlooking your private backyard.
We are pet friendly! There is a 2 pet maximum and a $60 fee. Please let us know if you are brining pets. No pets on furniture and please be sure to pick up after them.

Laundry: Washer and dryer located in the basement (laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided).

Summary: The house provided what we needed for a quick trip to Ohio with our dogs so we could attend a birthday party for my niece. The house is an older cute home that has been remodeled. I was a little nervous at first not knowing the area but everything was great with an Acme right down the road and places to eat nearby. The Portage Lakes State Park is close and a wonderful place to walk and has great disc golf course. The only thing we questioned was the security camera. We just would have appreciated a heads up on the camera, when we first saw the camera it made us a little nervous, but I also understand monitoring the outside area. Overall, the house was nice and worked for our visit to see family. I would rent here again in the future for additional family trips to ohio.

Summary: A group of us were in Akron for the Canal Corridor 100 mile run and stayed here. It was the perfect location, with the perfect amenities! We even had our dogs with us, the yard is huge!

Summary: This place has a perfect location, and was in the middle of Everywhere we wanted to go. The property lot was large and had plenty of space for dogs. The beds were very comfortable, and the room sizes were great. The open floor plan was great as well. There were some things that needed to be maintained a little better such as some uneven flooring between rooms without transitions, and we found an outlet without a cover on it next to a bed. Which the floor was sharp in certain parts of the cracked tiles, which made it a little dangerous. However, overall, it was a great stay, and we enjoyed the location.

Summary: Great place to stay and would not hesitate to stay there again!! We were in the area for a wedding, so didn’t spend a ton of our time there but actually would’ve liked to have had one more day just to chill at the house and around the fire pit. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck in the provided Adirondack chairs. The beds were comfy and we had all the supplies we needed! One of us even forgot a shirt that got accidentally mixed up in the bed linens, and the owner was happy to help get it back to us👍
