Summary: Our family of six had an amazing trip! The house was the perfect home base for exploring the high peaks region. We had four kids in the upstairs bedroom and it worked perfectly. Stove was warm and cozy. TV was great for a show for the older kids while the younger ones napped. Kitchen had everything we needed. Property was fun for snowshoeing and playing in the snow. We will be back!

Summary: Everything needed was provided close to whiteface and great restaurants nearby. The cabin was in a nice spot was clean and everything worked as it should. The stairway to river would have been even better in warmer weather.

Summary: We book this property for my wife's 40th birthday. She has always wanted to stay in the Adirondacks in the fall and see all the colors, and boy did we. Whiteface is a quick drive away and was so beautiful. Even had a chance to take the kids to see Santa at the North Pole, only 15 minutes away, it was magical. Also right in town is a covered bridge that is just awesome. This property was such a relaxing place can't wait to go back.

Summary: My wife and I vacationed here for a week in August 2024. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood. It is very central to many of the Adirondack features. The cabin is well equipped with many modern conveniences including washer/ dryer, dishwasher, and wifi. There is also a great trail/ stairway to the river with seating at the base to enjoy the serenity of the river. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. In short, we are looking forward to coming back!

Summary: My 20 and 18 year-old kids and I stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the cabin very much. It was clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully and cheerfully furnished without being stuffy. We made good use of the grill, which is right outside the kitchen, and enjoyed dinners and games in the dining nook, and breakfasts outside. The short walk down to the river and its sitting areas was special, as was hearing the river at night. The cabin is well-situated for trips to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and all of the related sights and activities. We would definitely stay there again!

Summary: I thought it was a perfect size. The river access is a work out but so worth it. You can hear the river from the cabin that alone was relaxing. I felt safe and comfortable. The bed was great which is always a plus ! I would absolutely book again !!

Summary: Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. Cons: I believe the cleaner did not do a thorough cleaning of the master bedroom which was disappointing. We had to re-wash all of the bedding upon our arrival.
