What a GREAT place to spend your vacation.
Enjoy this ***COMPLETELY REMODELED & UPDATED*** single family home in the family friendly Lawton Woods community located in beautiful Sea Pines. Lawton Woods is conveniently located to all Sea Pines amenities yet provides a tucked away secluded retreat from plantation activities. Take an early morning walk on the nature trail located just outside the back door and fully experience nature as this beautiful home backs up to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. All this and of course easy access to the beach, golf, tennis, and Harbour Town via Sea Pines bike trails.
Main living area is spacious with plenty of natural light provided by a large sliding glass door and two skylights. Large entertainment center houses a large screen HDTV and DVD player with a disk reader so you can replay the day's activities from your digital camera photos. A large Sofa and Love Seat, along with an Oversized Chair provide plenty of space to stretch out relax, watch TV, read a book, or surf the web via high speed wireless internet access on your wifi enabled device.
Master Bedroom has King Bedroom suite, 42' flat panel TV, private bath with granite countertop and double patio door with access to a private patio.
Second Bedroom has Queen Bedroom suite, 42' flat panel TV, adjacent access to full bath with granite countertops.
Third Bedroom has bunk beds and day bed with pull out. This room comfortably sleeps 4 kids or young adults. With the day bed and a 42' flat panel TV with DVD player, this room also doubles as a great kid's hangout/playroom.
Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of granite countertop space, stainless steel appliances, huge granite sink, and a 28' inch flat panel TV, making this a great space to prepare family meals.
Dining area has two tables and comfortably seats 8 with chairs and table leaves to expand to accommodate up to 12. This configuration is perfect for family meals - seats everyone together - yet allows young and old to hold their own conversations or interact with one another.
The house has a full size front load washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.
Private backyard provides easy access to nearby lake (200 yards away) and is a great space to relax and unwind on the patio complete with patio furniture. This area seats 8 and is easily expandable to 10. Side yard has a grill, an additional seating area with Adirondack chairs, and a firepit. These areas have easy access to the living room and kitchen - perfect for grilling and eating under the stars!
Guests are welcome to use our bikes to explore the area (security deposit required).
Guests also have access to Sea Pines amenities including the beach club & the Plantation golf club, equestrian center, forest preserve, Harbour Town, and more.
Just imagine your day.... Wake up in a beautiful house, make a cup of coffee to enjoy on the new backyard patio while overlooking the Nature Preserve, take a quick walk over to the Beach or the Equestrian Center. Return to plan the rest of your day. Will it be a bike ride to Harbour Town or the Beach Club for lunch? A round of Golf? Maybe some tennis or sea kayaking? Not sure - no problem you can always hang out on the beach and just let the day go by!

Summary: The house was excellent - we cooked a lot of the meals at home as the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and everything was super clean. Kathy is a great host!

Summary: We arrived at check in time of 4pm and had not received the entry code by email and despite messaging host three times by voice mail and email, we had no response. We called corporate VRBO who contacted the host and we were finally able to access the property. Very stressful after long drive. The property was fine although a bit dark.

Summary: Great stay with great communication from a great host! Everything was perfect and as described would definitely stay again! We had to book last minute but there were no problems with any aspect of the stay. Greatly appreciated the opportunity to have hot showers an A/C as we rode out the damage from the storm!

Summary: As Hilton Head becomes more popular (and more crowded) during the summer, staying in the right location becomes more important. This home was biking distance to Harbor Town, South Beach, Sea Pines Beach Club, Coligny Beach, and a lot more. The house was spacious and the perfect size for our family of 5 plus dog. We also loved being right next to the forest preserve and seeing wildlife every day. Kathy and Dave were super responsive and helped us figure a few things out while we were there. All in all I highly recommend this house!

Summary: Our family had an amazing week in Sea Pines. Being so close to the nature preserve and the beach was wonderful. We biked almost everywhere and played games in the evening in the spacious house. The house was perfect for our needs, beautifully decorated and very clean. We would definitely stay at this property again!! We can’t wait to come back hopefully next summer. This place is a gem.

Summary: Having stayed at a few VRBO's, I can say this one was the best our family has ever stayed at! The property was clean, well managed with excellent communication, and provided a perfect home base for my family-kids from 1-6, plus two sets of in laws to explore HHI. While we didn't use the bikes as the managing the kids (and older parents :) ) was more than my wife and I wanted to handle, we would definitely take advantage next time. Being a/b a mile from the beach, I would shuttle people to the beach access points and walk from the house briskly. I didn't mind the exercise since we had ice cream nearly every night, but for those without the extreme on the age spectrum, it is a very doable walk and/or bike ride. The house had EVERYTHING we needed or wanted PLUS MORE! The pack and play was a must with the baby, and there was even an attachable high chair that was a pleasant surprise. Some basic beach gear-chairs, toys, were a hit. Plus there were some games for the kiddos. With plenty of space to eat and cook meals, it took the stress out of trying to get a large group out to eat every night. The space was immaculate, comfortable, and there were ZERO complaints from anybody, a first for my family :) We were able to have fun full days and comfortable restful nights. Some of our live's sweetest memories were made on this trip. We cannot wait to come back!
