Summary: Nice property, however no wood available to use in the fire place, no locks on any bathroom doors, two of the three exterior doors did not lock well, and several electric heaters ran all the time to keep house somewhat warm.

Summary: The property is beautiful and has easy access to the river. Just a quick drive from Detroit Lake and all it has to offer. The house feels like a cabin, but with all the modern amenities like a dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc. Can’t wait to stay here again!!

Summary: We enjoyed our time. It worked great for our 2 dogs. It was great being not far from Detroit Lake. The house is a nice size for family gathering. The yard and outdoor deck are a nice plus. If your an older couple and need a bathroom near by, the two bathrooms are located down on the main level. The bedroom on the main level has bunkbeds, it would be better if they had the queen bed in that room which has a bathroom . No air conditioning. other than window cooling system which helps, but when you have days that are in the 100's it takes a long time to cool off.

Summary: What a peaceful place to experience the transition from Summer sunshine to Autumn rains! We enjoyed the rustic charm of this cabin-like house, with nooks and crannies to explore, both inside and out. Upstairs bedrooms and downstairs bathrooms may present a nighttime challenge for some guests; otherwise, go enjoy this “diamond in the rough”! ~ J, C, E & M – September 2023

Summary: We enjoyed our stay for our little family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with the things needed to make a meal...there could have been a few more dinner plates. Great dishwasher and large refrigerator. If you eat inside there is only a smallish table for 4-5.but if the weather allows you can seat 7 on the patio although a picnic table on the patio would have been nice for a larger family. The owner was very quick to answer any questions which was very helpful. The kids and male adults loved the fishing. Large yard to run around in.
