Summary: We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at La Tour-Saint-Gelin. The property is situated in a very secluded area, surrounded by open farmland. It’s incredibly peaceful, however within a very short drive of some of the Loire’s finest Chateau and Vineyards. The building in which we stayed had been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed (although I couldn’t find the cheese grater 😉) . The pool was outstanding and an essential feature with two children and 35+ degrees. I would highly recommend the property. Sandra’s communication was excellent and she kindly forgave my faltering French. After having originally booked 2 years ago it was well worth the wait.

Summary: We had a lovely break at Le Grand Creuilly. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who interrupted their own holiday to meet us. The property itself is very nicely furnished and maintained. The grounds are extensive and the pool area very impressive with a large pool. Would thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing, peaceful holiday.

Summary: We had a to cut out stay short because of a family emergency back home which was a shame because up to that point we had the most amazing time at Le Grand Creuilly. It’s in the most beautiful location. So peaceful yet with all you need a short drive away. The property is renovated to a very high standard and is beautifully clean. We have family that live near by so we very much hope to visit again one day

Summary: The gite was beyond our expectations, comfortable, spacious and in an idyllic location. The pool and surrounding area, the courtyard and gardens were a real delight. Sandra was an excellent host and it was a pleasure to meet her and her family.

Summary: The house is secluded in its own extensive grounds.There is lots of room for children to play. The house facilities were very good and the pool area was the star attraction. Shops were reasonably close at 8 km and being close to many chateau and other attractions there was lots to do that's if you can tear yourself away from the pool area.

Summary: Le Grand Creuilly is a fabulous location, a beautifully renovated barn with modern, stylish fittings that allow you to enjoy this lovely part of the Loire countryside. The house looks out onto the quadrangle in front of the Chateau, we sat outside every morning and evening for breakfast and dinner feeling very lucky to have found this haven of tranquility. The swimming pool is very well maintained and in great condition, tastefully fenced off with hedges. We, as a family spent a lot of time at the pool during the day and for pre-dinner drinks. Sandra and Edouard are courteous and warm in their hospitality and we thank them for a lovely holiday.

Summary: We had a great time - lovely quiet but accessible location. The pool and gardens were great and the house spot on. Very attentive owners who spent time showing us where everything was. The only surprise (for Brits) was having to bring your own sheets/duvet cover etc.

Summary: Couldn't have asked for a more lovely place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for relaxing. The swimming pool was fabulous. The accomodation was excellent and the whole family enjoyed the stay. We came home refreshed and relaxed.
