Summary: Wonderful soothing views from the living room and bedrooms. Excellent sitout. Superb amenities, great location. Only minor complaint is that lack of drapes makes it hard for light-sensitive people to sleep when it's light outside.

Summary: This is one of our favorite properties. We really loved so much about it. First, its location was perfect for many family activities. Located in a beautiful neighborhood of Carmel-By-the-Sea, the property was close to the fabulous restaurants and shops of downtown Carmel, the famous not-to-be-missed17-mile drive, Monterey (and the Monterey Aquarium), and the Point Lobos Nature Preserve. It also was a 45-minute drive to Big Sur Hiking. Second, the home was meticulously kept, lovely to look at, and charming. The home had a refreshing open air feel with lots of windows, with beautiful views of the mountain from the master and guest bedrooms and the family room. Third, the place was relaxing. The beds were so comfortable and we appreciated the quality linens and sheets. My husband and I stayed with our two teenagers and had plenty of room. They put out a very comfortable queen air bed. The kitchen has nice appliances and everything one would need to cook. Finally, we were so appreciative of the fact that the homeowners left little welcoming touches like a bottle of wine, and coffee and cream for our visit. It made our first night perfect!

Summary: Amy and Andrea have created a fresh, bright and calm environment for their guests. From the extra large master with great views to the fluffy towels, it was a wonderful experience. The home is centrally located in Carmel, with the ocean and valley nearby to explore. Only drawback was small 2nd bedroom and its bed. Thanks for the coffee and wine left for us to enjoy!
