As you step through the door, you'll be greeted by a warm welcoming atmosphere decorated to highlight the iconic style of the mid-century era, clean lines, with spashes of bold colors, amongthst the vintage furniture, art, books and pictures.
The lounge area is perfect for relaxing and entertaining, with comfortable arm chairs, leather sofa, retro furnishings, fixtures, a vintage television and even working period record player with record’s to spin some golden tunes of yesteryear.
Grandad also has a fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern amenities you would expect, whether you wish to cook a gourmet meal or perhaps even his favorite, a Lamb roast with vegetables, dough boys, and stewed rhubarb with vanila custard.
For the outdoor chefs amd summer evenings there is a family sized BBQ.
Each bedroom has been decorated in a different style with designer furnishings,statement lighting , art and and pictures.All beds are dressed with luxurious duvets, blankets, quality sheets and sumptuous pillows.

Summary: We enjoyed listening to the old record player, dressing up in retro gear, reading old comics and playing games from our childhood in the lounge that felt so familiar and homely. We slept well and the comfy beds. A lovely place to stay!

Summary: We had the best stay at Grandads! The house was spotless, cosy, homely and comfortable and the hot tub divine! The retro aspects of the home brought heaps of fun and joy and I loved enjoying the record player! All the specials touches and attention to detail from the host was much appreciated and I would love to come back again soon! Highly recommended!!

Summary: I can’t get past the disappointment of not being able use the advertised hot tub which was green and swamp smelling. And the disappointment that the owner/manager has still not replied to my private message to him about this. The main reason we chose this house.
