Positive: We had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Nadoä. Said and the other staff made us feel so welcome and Said gave us lots of advice about the area when we checked in which was so helpful. The breakfast was lovely and Said made sure we had a takeaway breakfast for the day we checked out early. The Riad has such a nice authentic feel and we loved the roof top too.

Negative: It took a little while to get our surroundings as the riad is a little bit of a walk away from the main town but after a couple of days it became much easier and more familiar. This is not a reflection of the riad at all though, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Positive: The staff was amazing and the home was beautiful. But three things need improvement. One the beds. They were hard like tables and it was painful to sleep in them. Second the bathroom had a sewer smell which I’m Sure has to do with the fact the house is old. And the third was that the door to our room was right in front of the breakfast area and we could hear everything. We also heard the alarm clock of the people in the room right across from us. I guess it’s all part of the riad experience but the mattress can DEFINITELY be improved.

Positive: Exceptional riad. Said, the manager on the property, speaks English and made me feel at home from the first day. He, Fatima, and Khdija, took outstanding care of me responding to every question I had. Breakfast was bountiful and tasty. My room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. I saw a rainbow from the terrace last night. Before I arrived I texted with Lahcen, the boss, and he prepared for my pick up at the airport and first night’s meal. The walk around the north part of the Medina, where the riad is located, was very comfortable and allowed me to get a sense of everyday life. The walk to the Souq’s is about 15-20 minutes with I enjoyed.

Negative: Everything was top notch. Nothing to not like.

Positive: One of the best accommodations we’ve stayed in. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly - they chatted to us everyday and gave us recommendations on places to visit! The breakfast was absolutely amazing - some of the best food we had in Marrakech - and the room was always clean and spotless when we’d come back after a day of exploring. They also accommodated our early check out time as we had an early flight and arranged a driver for us to the airport. This riad definitely made our trip more enjoyable!

Negative: The location is a bit of a walk from the touristy spots, but there is a nearby taxi rank that’s only a 5 minute walk away :)

Positive: It was a traditional Moroccan breakfast that was fresh, delicious and served nicely on traditional serving plates. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home. All respect to Farouk who does a great job there; a true sample of excellent services for guests. Thanks so much, Farouk for the lovely dinner on the terrace on the final night - it was delicious, aromatic, and filling! Amazing place to stay for those who want an incredibly cultural and yet comfy experience!
