Positive: This is the only Riad we have ever stayed in, so we have nothing to compare to... but we were not disappointed in the slightest. Ahmed and his wife (I presume, and unfortunately we never learnt her name) were friendly, welcoming and helpful... even when we were well over an hour delayed arriving, our "welcome meal" was still presented at 9pm (and was delicious). The room was amazing, the bed was big and very comfortable... the courtyard was beautiful and cool, even when it was 33°C on the street. It's just a short walk to the start of the souks, and the moped madness of Marrakesh... you can get to Jemaa el-Fnaa (the main square) in 10 minutes. Oh, and you can't forget Gizmo... one of two house cats (the other is very timid, and we didn't learn her name) And finally, nothing to do with the Riad but a personal recommendation if this is your first time to Marrakech... do a "street food tour" early in your trip. We did one with a guide called Abdo (look on tripadviser or viator) and it was around £17pp inc food. It gives you places to go back to, and a feel for the area.

Positive: It was a beautiful property, we had to book on very short notice however were accommodated kindly by staff, the breakfast was good, and staff were very friendly.

Negative: The air-conditioning worked however was not adequate in our terraced room, just too weak.

Positive: Upon arrival we were presented with Moroccan tea, and I cannot tell you how good that feels after a tiring trip. The room is large and opens up to a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast was delicious and the staff members are all so lovely and helpful. The location is superb, its close enough to access all the areas of interest, yet far enough so thats its quieter from the hustle and bustle of the medina.

Positive: This is a super cute stay with very friendly staff, big private breakfast and a lovely inside patio. Our room was a good size for the four of us and the locations was practically in the center, everything was walkable on foot.

Negative: Unfortunately, the AC was not very strong and the windows don't close completely. Furthermore, there were no keys to lock the door, but we didn't ask for them anyways as we did not have any valuables with us.
