Summary: Had a great stay in Kaikoura. The property was great, everything that you needed to make the stay perfect. Nice deck to sit outside to enjoy the view of the snow capped mountains. Secure back yard. Location was good, walking distance to supermarket, and short drive to center of town.

Summary: We turned up to unfortunately find a couple already in the accommodation we booked. Bookabach had confirmed our booking and taken payment, but somehow this was not communicated to the host as they had no details of our stay. Luckily the host had several properties, so even though it was 6pm she was able to find us somewhere. A call to Bookabatch resulted in zero sympathy or understanding that there was a problem, as accomodation was eventually found by the host. Next time we will book direct with Kaikoura Holiday Homes and skip the use of this 3rd party site. The house did look nice from the front door!
