Positive: We loved our stay at Pihanga Vista Cottage while we visited Tongariro National park! I wish we could have stayed in accomodations like this for our entire month-long visit to New Zealand. The cottage was so cute, a great location, clean and quiet, outfitted wonderfully, and the special touches of the hosts were so thoughtful. We arrived to some food supplies in the fridge which was such a nice touch and were appreciated! The bread, eggs, butter, and jelly allowed us to make a great breakfast without having to go shopping. What a gift! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our time in Turangi so comfortable!
Negative: We thought everything was great, I can't think of things to improve.
Summary: Wonderful accomodation with thoughtful touches made our stay in Turangi a highlight of our trip!

Positive: Pihanga Vista cottage is a spacious comfortable house. The hosts provided many extras, which were very welcome. About half an hour drive from Tongariro Park. Highly recommended if you have a car.

Positive: It is a little house funished with love where you quickly feel at home. The accommodation has everything you need for a longer or shorter trip through New Zealand and offers a large garden. It is a good starting point for a trip to Lake Taupo or the Tongariro National Park.

Positive: Lovely house. Clean and great facilities and deck. Provided little things like chocolate, milk, bread, jam etc.
Negative: Couldn't find anywhere in Taupo. Not their fault! Still only 50mins away.

Positive: Recently modernised property in quiet residential area with lovely garden for sitting in. Well furnished and very comfortable. The owners left fresh milk, bread, butter, eggs, jam, marmalade, tea, coffee etc which was a nice touch. Short drive (5 mins) to nearest supermarket for supplies. Excellent location for exploring Tongariro National Park. We spent 3 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer.
