Summary: Peaceful spot by the river. Not really a place to fly fish, but great fishing just down the road. Enjoyed hiking along the river too. Host was very responsive. Cozy place to stay. The only negative was that we needed to use the washer and dryer. The soap dispenser drawer for the washer was stuck. Once I got it open, it was so disgustingly mildewed and brown, I wouldn’t have washed any clothes except that we had soaked clothes from the river. I just put the soap directly into the drum. Then the dryer was not functional. The knob was missing and the door would not shut. The host graciously gave us access to the cabin next door for drying. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Summary: We had a fantastic week and a great stay. House was right on the river, which was delightful. We played disc golf next door at Magestic Enchantment and Jake the owner ran a shuttle for us a few days later so we could put our kayaks in at Crusher Hile and paddle and takeout right at the house! Beautiful float! We fished the river on our own and did a paid guide trip the last day. We visited Durango, Mesa Verde, the Aztec Ruins and the Sportsman frequently lol. Great spot.

Summary: Wasn’t sure what to expect when I rented. The location is extremely close to the Red Chili Waters. River front view with all the amenities. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay with a couple of buddies.
