Come experience the Florida lifestyle in this newly renovated riverview cottage with it's own private screened in patio. The cottage comes with a private fenced-in backyard, a beautiful river view, and access to a sitting area on the water. You'll be staying in the heart of our historic downtown and art's district, Eau Gallie. Our welcoming river community is a 6 minute drive to the ocean and only a 10 minutes to 95.
This 1 bed/1 bath newly renovated cottage is part of a 3 unit property. This and one other cottage are structurally attached and there is a separate house to the East. This cottage includes a living room with a sofa bed, breakfast/work nook, full sized kitchen, a bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The large private screened in patio includes a dinner table to be able to admire the river's waves and breeze during your meals. The private fenced in back patio is perfect for your 4-legged companions and complete with the beautiful river view. The driveway leads to a shared river front access area that includes a bench, a sea breeze and dolphin watching. There isn’t a dock that is available at this time but hopefully in the future. It's a calm and relaxing space that gives you the true Florida experience. You can see and hear the water from the cottage and have access to sit right next to it for the sunrise.

Summary: Property Manager Ashleigh checked in at beginning of stay helped with wifi after storm and was always available if needed. The property was quiet. The screen room looked out on the sea. The beds were comfortable and frig to oven and microwave worked. There are a few condiments. Silverware plates and towels are available. It was a refreshing get away. We are booking again in the fall. It was just the right distance to the beach. IF you want a great hide away for 3 adults and dogs this is the place!!

Summary: Like: -quiet and convenient to shopping and beach -felt safe -manager was friendly and quick to help with a few issues Dislike: -no bath soap, shampoo, kleenex -there was a coffee maker but no coffee or filters

Summary: Great little place, few steps to the Indian river and pet friendly. Only thing is the bedroom and Livingroom windows need some more privacy especially at night,Roll up blinds would help.Will stay again.

Summary: This property is just as advertised, except for the fact that you cannot know in advance just how responsive and helpful the host (through his current "in the neighborhood" assistant Ashleigh) will be. I asked in advance for reading lamps on either side of the bed and one in the living room and they were there upon our arrival (and so many more small but important items while we were there. The place is simple but perfect for folks like us who wanted to be near the water and near to our family. The commercial area, which is within walking distance, is also very charming with art galleries and an excellent coffee shop for those who are fussy about their morning cup of Joe. Highly recommend.

Summary: The Shady Pineapple is just delightful! We spent one night there as we traveled thru the area, and I wished we had more time. The cottage is well-appointed and cozy for a couple, and the bench on the Indian River was a beautiful spot to slow down and just take in the stunning view. Highly recommend this wonderful rental!
