Positive: Great location across the street from the Cumberland Island ferry.

Negative: Shabby, old hotel not anywhere near worth $216 a night. Lots of potential to be charming but needs work. "Breakfast" was paltry with nowhere to sit. Staff were effective but with no hospitality personality.

Positive: I loved that it was a historic hotel and close to the waterfront as well as the park, shops and restaurants…all within walking distance. Loved the balcony with table, chairs and rockers! Very pleasant!

Negative: Would have liked a little fridge available. Did appreciate the microwave in the little lounge.

Summary: I discovered a gem of a place which I would love to visit again someday! Thank you!! Enjoyed my stay!!

Positive: The place was quaint and had a nice historic vibe with lots of neat old pictures and write-ups. Very conveniently located. Friendly staff especially the housekeeper. Restaurant dinner was delicious

Negative: Our room was right over top of the bar and the Friday night music got old. Would suggest trying to put guests on the other side of the hotel on live music nights. Breakfast was not very exciting but the coffee was good.
