3 Bedroom Cabin in Lansing, Victor

Summary:
Rocky Top Retreat is a newly built cabin featuring a large covered wrap around porch for relaxing and enjoying wildlife. Inside the space is adorned with shiplap walls, cypress floors, concrete countertops and black stainless appliances. There is also a gas fireplace and lots of custom carpentry. It’s truly a unique space in our area that combines traditional materials with modern conveniences.
The Space:
RTR offers 1 Private Queen Bedroom on the main level and a Sleeper Sofa in the Great Room. You'll find a second Private Queen Bedroom upstairs as well as an open sleeping loft with 2 twins. A roll away bed is also available.
Guest Access:
Once guests have completed required documents, guidelines and codes will be delivered the day of arrival.
The Neighborhood:
Our Cabin is less than a mile to Adventures on the Gorge. The New River Gorge Bridge is within a couple of miles and downtown Fayetteville is 4 miles away. Rafting, hiking, biking,climbing,swimming, and fishing are all nearby. Summersville lake is a short drive away.

Summary: Ideal location for enjoying NRG. Short drive to most activities. We enjoyed the shaded deck but the globe strand lights from pics were missing so it was either pitch black or super bright outdoor lights at night. Kitchen was not well equipped for much cooking— very old scratched nonstick pans/pots with mismatched lids, dull knives. We found several alive and dead yellow jackets in the house which was alarming. Wifi access required you to opt-in to receive email marketing from sponsors (aka sign up for email spam) — no thanks. Didn’t come to go online, but it would’ve been nice to stream a movie for the kids on my iPad…

Summary: We chose this cabin for our stay in WV on a fishing trip. The cabin was clean, comfy and a nice, quiet, secluded lot not far from Route 19. The process of booking the stay and getting in and out were great.The only issues were the Hot water for showering was not particularly hot and the dishwasher. The dishwater had a sensor prompt an error and beeped an alert. The alert would not cancel and power OFF only lasted for 3-5 seconds before the alert beeping came back ON. It beeped all night and disturbed efforts to sleep.

Summary: Hose was as listed. We only occupied the lower level. Close proximity to hiking restaurants, and breweries. Enjoyed the stay without any problems.

Summary: The cabin was more than perfect for three of us and two dogs for a fall hiking weekend. It had everything we needed for lazy mornings before we hit the trail and relaxing evenings after. I would definitely return.

Summary: We had a great stay at this WV property. It was me and my husband and our adult children. Great location, tastefully decorated and beautiful surroundings. The only drawbacks was there is not a washer and dryer on site which would've been nice to have to wash clothes after doing area activities (but that was my fault for assuming it had it) and even though property sleeps 8 people it doesn't entertain 8 people comfortably. We had 7 Adults. Would've liked another lounge chair and better lighting for playing games at table. Otherwise we had a great time! Thank you Michael for opening your house up to us.
