Positive: Spacious, light room. Watercooker for tea/coffee. Basic shower and toilet that are for guests only. Big sunny garden. Owner speaks multiple languages. Place is clean.

Negative: The outdoor kitchen for guests includes a nice seating area but the whole space is acessible for their 4 dogs as well. 2 would come up regularly, over excitedly, jumping on me and begging for food when I was cooking. An easy fix would be to make a gate at the bottom of the stairs so they can't come up. The house itself is very noisy at night: ticking pipes, buzzing machines of some sort... there are all kinds of strange annoying noises. The mattress is terrible and desperately needs replacing. There is a big dent in it. One of the roller blinds is broken/stuck. The lady of the house made me feel incredibly unwelcome. When I arrived and tried to introduce myself she literally pretended like I didn't exist. Later, when there was a problem with the heater she complained to me about everything, including her partner. I understand she was ill at the time and wanted to be in bed instead but gosh - maybe think through a different hospitality solution on days like this? The male owner is quite friendly but he was at the local pub, leaving his grumpy girlfriend to deal with guest issues - most of which could have been avoided if they'd checked everything was working upfront (there was another guest, it was cold and both our heaters weren't working) Or when she called him he could have offered to be home in 5 mins to fix the issue and she could have gone back to bed instead? As it was, it was clear neither of them wanted to deal with it and while it did get fixed in the end, the whole situation was just so unnecessarily unpleasant. There's a flatscreen in the room and they have big plans for the future of the place but it would be better if they get the basics straightened out first. As it is, I would not recommend staying here. For the price, I expect no luxury but friendliness, a good mattress, a good night's sleep and keeping the dogs out of the kitchen are I think reasonable expectations to have as a guest.

Positive: Rogozen B&B Was a perfect find for us We stayed 11 Nights and the hosts were super friendly , welcoming rooms very clean with plenty fresh towels and bedding , top veranda for cooking with all the amenities you would need,Slept like babies & the best mattress in Bulgaria ☺️ We’re in love with their 4 dogs and we’re missing them already , can’t wait to return next year.

Positive: Quaint, cozy village house with friendly, hospitable Belgian hosts who speak Bulgarian and will make you feel right at home. If you're into luxury and 5-star hotels, do not book here. This is a great place to stay if you like the countryside, peace and quiet, dogs and smiling faces. Totally recommended! P.S.: The lighting in my Bedroom 1 was state-of-the-art.

Positive: My favorite thing was the bed!! It was so incredibly comfortable, after a long day of riding my bicycle I felt I landed in heaven. The people were so kind and helpful. I felt immediately at home. The area is beautiful, lots of nature, and peace.
