Positive: The wildlife, beautiful sounds of monkey, birds, and beautiful trees and plants. The bathroom is nice, the kitchen is open and I had the room to myself.

Negative: Sound carries easily, so just know at night you may hear a lot of activity from other guests.

Positive: Our stay with Rosa and Elvis was absolutely incredible. The place, the energy, their hospitality, the rich animal life in their garden. The smell of the jungle. Their dog Kira greeting us every time we enter the property makes this a truly magical experience. We expected to have a good time in Puerto Maldonado, but did not expect to make great new friendships in Rosa and Elvis. We mentioned for them on our second night that we were on our honeymoon, and the next day Rosa brought the beautiful garden inside and transformed our room into the perfect honeymoon suite. Their demeanour and energy made it easy for us to feel welcome and at home. We will forever cherish our late night talks about life, the unknown and future dreams.

Negative: That we did not have more days at Rosa’s house.

Positive: The couple is the nicest ever. We where invited to the birthday, she showed us all the animals around and helped us with a jungle trip much cheaper than all you could book around and less touristy very nice stay👍

Positive: Rosas house was an extremely comfortable and warm stay. Rosa and Elvis were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful during my stay. The area is so tranquil with wildlife and their own animals. There is lots of space to relax outside! It is a 10 minute walk up the road if you want to pick up some groceries, otherwise nothing much around unless you walk.

Positive: Rosas house house is an excellent place for those wanting a more rural experience in the jungle. Rosa and Elvis’ friendly and warm vibe made me feel very welcome and at home. Staying at the property was like featuring in a wildlife documentary, seeing monkeys and tarantulas, as well as the incredible sounds in the night time. I traveled alone and had the whole property to myself but it is somewhere I would recommend to bigger groups. Mira (the guard dog) was the star of the show, a super loving, cute and friendly pooch who stayed guard at my room door each night and gave a warm welcome when I woke up or returned back home. Thank you again Rosa for a lovely jungle experience.

Negative: I didn't really have any problems with the property itself. All I would say is sometimes sleeping wasn’t so comfortable because of the heat. Also remember to bring some sort of insect repellent because I was eaten alive.

Positive: The owner Rosa and her husband are lovely. They expained us a lot about plants which grow around there house. The kitchen is well equipped and has all you need. It's nice to hang around in the frontjard and relax a little.

Negative: It's a bit far our from the centre but still easy reachable by mototaxi

Positive: Rosa is an excellent host. We arrived tired with no vehicle or food. For a reasonable sum Rosa cooked us a delicious evening meal and we shared a lovely moment together.

Positive: Loved every moment of staying here. The host whom I want to call Mama Rosa was just so nice, kind, and warm-hearted lady. On my arrival, she welcomed me with a warm hug and took a very good care of me. I had her home cooked dinners and breakfast (20 soles each). Her cooking was lovely and filling. I can see why everyone who stayed in this place was so satisfied and happy. I recommend Rosa's House 100% and more.
