Positive: The cabins were right on the river. I could watch the river from my bed. Good thing too, as we arrived sick and spent the first couple of days resting. There was also a little patio to sit outside. It was very peaceful despite the ruckus from the birds. Emanuel and his family were super nice and helpful and provided beautiful meals. It was a little remote and if we had known we would have brought some snacks and drinks. There is a fridge at the cabin. Emanuel was super helpful and picked a couple of things up for us and organized a ride to town for my son. There are also bikes that we could use. We did a couple of tours that Emanuel organized for us and we enjoyed them very much. All together we spent 5 nights and l totally loved my time there.
Summary: Tranquility in the Amazon.

Positive: Emanuel and his family ( including their parrot Antonia) were wonderful and helpful, the bungalows are clean, the setting by the river is great with many sound effects from various birds and other animals and chicken in the morning. Emanuel's cooking was very tasty. Very enjoyable stay.
Negative: That I couldn't stay longer.

Positive: Manuel and his family are the best, most welcoming hosts Delicious breakfasts and juices Warm showers and clean rooms Lovely to wake up in the jungle! Incredibly helpful hosts with airport pick up/drop off and organising all of our trips - we did piranha fishing, lake Sandoval and island of the monkeys. Would recommend all 3! I would love all my family and friends to experience staying here!
Negative: Wi-Fi was patchy and doesn’t work in the rooms really Have to go with the flow a little on timings for the trips - but they were all really great!
Summary: Made to feel at home in the jungle!

Positive: It was amazing!!! We were in the Amazon!!! Emanuel & his family gave us the warmest welcome to their home. The place was amazing and the wooden houses inside the jungle by the River so clean & comfort with view that we felt so relaxed 😎 after so many (amazing) days trekking & climbing Andes mountains. Every morning Emanuel offered us tasteful breakfasts with so many flavours & unforgettable exotic fruit juices!!! Moreover they cooked for us dinners with so fresh fishes, vegetables & fruits! Delicious! The helped us & organised us daily tours to the jungle & the river to see and feel the wild life & nature! Last but not least they were so kind that transferred us to & from airport & to the village to have a drink and dinner. You gave us big hug 🤗 my friend and you know Emanuel you can come to Greece with your family, an open invitation :) Eleni & Pantelis

Positive: Everything! But most of all, we were treated so well by Manuel and his family who own the lodge. They cooked the most delicious, healthy, mostly organic meals. They took us on a walking tour of their farm nearby. The tours they sent us on were all wonderful and we saw lots of wildlife. The cabin was very clean, cool, comfortable with hot water and good wifi. Falling asleep to the sound of the water and having a direct view of the river while lying in bed was such a treat. We could have easily stayed longer and would love to be back. It felt more like a home stay than a lodge, which we loved, especially since we were traveling with our young daughter. It was also very helpful that Manuel picked us up himself from the airport. He and his family went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Thank you so much!

Positive: The cottages are super clean and the family that runs the hotel is very very nice! We stayed for two nights and had breakfast and dinner in the hotel both nights. It was so delicious. We booked the tour directly through them so they drove us and picked us up which was very convenient.

Positive: Sunrise was the perfect place for us to stay during our time in the Peruvian Amazon. Emmanuel and his family are incredibly inviting and treated us like family. Emmanuel helped schedule all of our tours (we did a night boat ride to see the sunset and the caimans, a trip to see the clay lick which was amazing, and a visit to local lake in the reserve). The space is beautiful, well kept, and so peaceful. We loved waking up each morning to the sound of the beautiful birds and breakfast and dinner were very tasty. We would highly recommend making Sunrise your home base for your amazonian adventures :)

Positive: This was one of the best experiences of my life. Imagine waking up with an incredible view of the river while listening to the sounds of the amazon forest and being served fresh juice from tropical fruit. Doesn’t get better than that! The cabins were pristinely clean, we had a nice hot shower, and got to go on many of the adventures offered by the property such as the amazon night walk where we saw a sloth and piranha fishing where we saw a cayman! It was so fun! The owners are a wonderful family, so kind and helpful. You can buy lunch and dinner there, and honestly their cooking was so good that we never wanted to eat out. 10/10 experience!
