Positive: Absolutely fantastic little cottage. Travelled up for a chilled family weekend (dog included) before our second child arrives and this was the perfect place to stay. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed, including a high chair. The fixed rolling stairgate was also very handy, for both our toddler and dog. Plenty of supplies for the log burners with very detailed and easy to follow instructions. The garden was an added bonus, a great size for our large dog amd toddler to run about but also secure so no chance of escape. The host was fantastic, checked we had everything we needed after we arrived via message and supplied plates for my husbands motorbike kickstand to rest on instead of the gravel. The location was great, lovely walks as soon as you step out the property and a short drive to shops and a good Chinese takeaway. Even though it was close to a railway line and main road we didn't really notice the noise, which is always a bonus. Hopefully we will be back!

Positive: Loved everything about rose mount cottage, perfect location for us, fab views and very peaceful. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we could need and more. Was very kindly given an early check in at short notice too. Lovely stay will def stay again when in area.
Negative: Nothing to dislike. Slightly on the expensive side as only 2 of us but well worth the money if 3-4 people staying.

Positive: WONDERFUL cottage, both beautiful and comfortable, with all amenities, large, excellent cleanliness, fantastic views of the countryside from bedroom windows, garden gate leads to nature walks. All the information you need about the area, such as where to go and how to get there, is printed in the booklet for visitors use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ask for, including pots and pans (clean!), dishwasher, diningware, a bottle of wine, coffee etc. There is a separate room for washing machine which is very convenient. For us it was a bit on the expensive side but you certainly get your money's worth.
