Summary: Breakfast was excellent and server Hannah was outstanding. The restaurant was busy and my order was slightly delayed but she was able to serve me an English muffin in advance of the order. Nice well kept property, would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Summary: I recently had a wonderful stay at Royal Park Hotel and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The property has a refined, boutique feel with elegant décor, warm wood accents, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel both luxurious and relaxing. Service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Summary: Everything was wonderful, but the room service left a lot to be admired. When your special night for dinner comes up in a paper bag, it truly doesn’t set a great feeling. When your tag line is, luxury beyond your expectations and your room service comes in a paper bag? You can do way better than that.

Summary: Beautiful property, kind staff. Loved having room service and breakfast on property. Not a 5 star due to a long wait at check in. We arrived at 4pm, they appeared to have a difficult reservation in front of us but since there was only one staff member for 15 mins we waited. Finally a second staff member got us checked in. We reserved a room with a terrace, it was beautiful but if you want any sleep at all, you can't have a windy night. We were shoving pieces of cardboard into the exterior door to help seal the door better so it wasn't howling inside.

Summary: The room was clean, but the sink didn't drain. Bed was not comfortable, you could feel the springs. An hour prior to checkout a staff member opened the door, did not knock, and said hello and the left. I went to look who came by and I could see the lady walking down the hall. I wasn't about to shout down the hall to see what she needed. They also tack on an automatic charge of $16 per day at checkout. I've stayed here before and after the renovations. The cleanliness has not changed, but the character is gone. Honestly, it just felt like a standard chain hotel. I like to stay there because of the security, but after a staff member opened my door without knocking, I'll try a different hotel next time. I did notify them at checkout and about the sink, the response was dismissive.

Summary: Our stay overall was great, and Alvin truly turned our experience around. Prior to check-in, I called the concierge to ask if there was anything I could arrange to make my husband’s birthday a little extra special. I completely understand that enhancements come at a cost, but the tone of the conversation felt unexpectedly uncomfortable. I was repeatedly reminded of charges (such as $60 for prosecco in the room), and the interaction left me feeling as though I was asking for complimentary items rather than inquiring about available options. It simply felt off. That said, once we arrived, Alvin delivered exactly the kind of hospitality I was hoping for. He was warm, kind, and solution-oriented. He suggested a room upgrade, which I happily paid for, and helped make the celebration feel special. He also provided drink and breakfast vouchers to help us celebrate, which was such a thoughtful touch. Alvin was 10/10. If it weren’t for him, I’m not sure we would have chosen to return — but because of his service, we absolutely would.
