One of our favorite spaces at The Rustic Family retreat is sitting quietly on the covered porch.
Or sitting outside by the fire & a huge open space great for looking up at the night sky perfect for stargazing and enjoying nature.
We are happy to host small events (fees apply- inquire via email added on site)
We are so close to so many great spots yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city that you truly feel away from it all.
Enjoy our comfy living room and enjoy your peaceful family time .
We have access and availability to chefs who can host your group (for add'l fees) and we are happy to discuss hosting small events at the "Rustic Family Retreat".
Looking for a great walking or hiking spot that leads to serene views. We recommend Lake Minnewaska and the Walk over the Hudson bridge, both just a short car ride away.

Summary: We made a last minute reservation at Rustic Family Retreat for our adult children and a few of their friends. The space was perfect us as everyone got their own room while the kitchen/dining/family area was spacious snd comfortable. The location is a secluded spot at the top of a hill. The property was attached to another unit, but it was not a problem at all. There is only one adjoining room and we didn’t see them or hear them. It was really nice, Jewel was super-responsive. . Summary: This was the prefect place for our family to see off our girl and get her situated for her freshman year at SUNY New Paltz. Close enough to be her emotional support during orientation; it was spacious and comfortable for 7 of us.

Summary: This home is cozy but spacious. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers- the parents had their own rooms as well as each of the kids. Kitchen/living room was perfect to cook and all hang out together. Even got to have a campfire in the huge backyard. Highly recommend this property.
