Positive: We received a very warm welcome when arriving late in the evening. The hosts arranged a family dinner so we could relax which was delicious . I got sick before my group arrived and they offered to drive me to a doctor. The homestay is immaculate. Very clean, hot showers, comfortable beds and cool AC. Thank you for your hospitality

Positive: We loved this place. The facilities were perfectly clean and the bed was very confortable. You also have a living room with sofa. The breakfast and the dinner were very good quality meals and very tasty. The staff even served us early so that we could leave for the day, they were very friendly and answering our questions and requests. We felt very welcomed. The owner was not here himself at this moment, however he always made himself present during the whole stay by whatsapp and was able to answer all our questions. He is a wildlife photographer so feel free to ask him if you are also interested in spotting fauna!! You can rent a scooter to the homestay. Thanks to the owner recommandations, we went to Dotalugala to hike a bit, and the view to get there during the scooter ride was magnificent. In a sunny days you can see the mountains. Always propre a raincoat as the weather changes unexpectedly. If you are brave enough, you can drive 3h to visit the village of Meemure, at the end of that same road. Driving there is so beautiful that time flies. It is easy to come from Kandy, go to the bus station and ask for Wegala, the destination is usually Hunnasgiriya or further.
