Summary: This is a fantastic location. The property overlooks the ocean which means you can have your morning coffee watching the fishing boats leaving the harbour. The rooms are spacious and ours had a small kitchenette that had everything to make breakfast or simple evening meals. The only downside for us was the property is being renovated at present and the rooms and hotel lobby have a very strong smell of paint fumes, that really got to the back of your throat. This made sleeping with the windows closed impossible and made all our clothes hanging up in the wardrobe also smell of paint. The renovation work is also noisy, but the staff kept this to reasonable hours. I would stay here again in an instant the staff are very polite and friendly. The location is great for all amenities in St Andrews, but would check that the renovations were complete first.
