Summary: House is in a wonderful location. Ewen, the resident manager, was very quick to respond to our queries and issues. Although we never met him, he was always responsive. The house is in a great location looking over the south end of the bay with nice breezes in the afternoon. The AC worked fine as did the TV but we had problems with the upstairs water pressure, as there was none. Ewen said he was going to solve the issue in the future. The house needs some TLC, but over all we had a very nice stay.

Summary: My husband, myself and our best friends (from Wales, UK), met here for our annual joint vacation. None of us had ever been to Huatulco, Mexico. We are now all in love with this beautiful place. Francois was helpful every step of our booking and stay. He has a written an informative guide to the area. He sent it to us prior to our arrival and there is a copy at the house. Be sure to ask Francois to set you up with Tico, and his son Danny, for a private all day boat tour of the surrounding bays and beaches. The home is large and its location in the neighborhood is perfect. Beautiful views from every window and a short walk down the paved path to the beach. Be sure to rent an SUV, as the neighborhood is quite remote and the final section of dirt road is narrow, step and rough. However, the reward is a beautiful neighborhood and a stunning beach. Beautiful flowers are everywhere. The neighborhood is very well kept and we never felt unsafe. Everyone we met, from Jesus, the neighborhood manager, to the other residents were so nice and made us feel at home. The people in Salchi are all so friendly! Be sure to go to Manta Raya Restaurant. The food is beyond compare, every meal, every day. The owner, Reto, his father, Rudy, and the staff (especially Sara and Fern) treated us like family. Salchi is a very special place and we are already planning on a return trip! Contact Francois and book your own special vacation!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this place. It is perfect for those looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation, away from the hustle of the usual tourist areas. The house is one of several houses which make up a small community on a hillside overlooking the sea and Salchi beach. We found it to be spacious and well laid out, with lots of windows, two private patios, great views, and only a sort walk up from the beach. Francois has equipped the house well, including with a detailed booklet of photos and helpful information on the area and suggestions for things to do. It is recommended to rent a car, as Salchi is out of the way.

Summary: We loved the place. Very well located and in a very peaceful area. The two terrasses are wonderful with a great view of the ocean. The house manager, Tury was very helpful and attentive to our needs. I recommand this house and this location if you want peace and tranquility. We want to go back there. Thanks to François, the owner.

Summary: Beautiful location very secluded which is what I like. The property does need some updating, wasn't very clean. The furniture is very dirty and stained , needs to be replaced. An interior paint job would do wonders.
