Summary: Great option and worked well for a ski trip for my brother and I. Nice and quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors who chatted with us as we walked back from the bus stop. We did not have a car but used rideshare service and UTA ski bus without issue. About a 10 minute, slightly uphill, walk to the bus stop and grocery store. Probably not an ideal choice if my wife/kids were along for this trip but worked perfectly for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again depending on the travelling party.

Summary: Excellent communication with a host. The apartment was very spacious for our family of 4. The kitchen is stocked nicely with anything you need if you are cooking and not eating out. A lot of DVDs and a super nice selection of available apps on the TV for you to watch in the evening after a full day of skiing. Nice collection of board games, extra towels, blankets, toiletries, and everything you may need on a week or 2 week-long trip. Extra heaters, sheets... The apartment is very nicely lit so you do not really feel like it is a basement. It was a pleasure to stay in. It was close enough to Cottonwood Canyons and Whole Foods and a few other stores that you may need are around really close. You will still need a car but driving was not terrible. I will stay again if we ever go back in SLC on a skiing trip.
