Positive: The property was close to Quilotoa Lake and was very clean. The owner Marcelo took great care of us. One of my family members got sick and Marcelo woke up at 1am to make us tea. He went above and beyond.

Positive: Lovely facility. Great character. Nicely situated just outside of center but without feeling distant. Host was super helpful and responsive to needs.

Negative: A bit cold, although this is likely seasonal reality; restaurant was closed for dinner which seemed to contradict advertising, but again likely a seasonal thing. It would be helpful to communicate this (seasonal changes or potential for change) in site

Positive: The hotel is just a few minutes walking from the Quilotoa lagoon. The staff were very accommodating and had our room ready with heaters in case it got too cold. Breakfast was nice and the place was clean. Good value for money

Negative: I wish I could have enjoyed the area more but altitude sickness really hit us hard.
