Summary: This is a small hotel that offers slivers of the ocean view. You will not have a full ocean view from the room as this hotel makes it appear. The exterior is in poor condition. The parking is right on a highway, no elevator and no AC. Very poor customer service. Nothing for kids to do here other than explore the beach before the tide comes up. I would recommend staying somewhere with a better view of the ocean for a little more price. The rooms are redone and are comfortable.

Summary: Rooms were updated, beds are comfy. Bathroom could use deeper clean but wasn’t too bad. There was a New microwave oven and cable tv. Overall, we had a good stay.

Summary: Very shabby on the outside, torn flooring and rickety stairs. The center courtyard has been decimated by a storm . We have stayed there numerous times but always in a room near the ocean, this time we were right by the road and it was very noisy. Don't be put off by the exterior the rooms are quite lovely.

Summary: We can appreciate the fact that this dear building is a beautiful, old soul. Upgrades have been done and are in progress. We enjoyed a lovely sleep, and woke up to the sound and vibrations of the waves coming in. Our suite must have been far away from the water heater, but patience brought us a hot shower in the end. The lady at the front desk was delightful. Thank you!

Summary: I honestly did enjoy my stay overall, but I would not ever stay in the ground level again. The people upstairs of us were up at about 5 am both mornings and we could hear them stomping around. That was truly frustrating, but the location, the inn itself was very nice.

Summary: Booked just a one night stay on a trip up Island. I stayed at the Sand Pebbles many times when I lived on the Island in the 1970s and 1980s when it was new. It is a bit run down now outside although the rooms were clean and adequate. The kitchenette is just a fridge and microwave, no cups or utensils which was fine for us passing through but would be a surprise for a family on holiday. A small coffee maker was supplied but I prefer to make my own coffee. Had to heat the water in the micro with the coffee cup I had bought. Having said all this, the location is beautiful and I enjoyed a great walk at 7am. Stayed August 26th 2024.
