Set amongst the native bush with stunning views across the sounds and Mt Stokes, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom family friendly holiday home will provide an excellent place to relax. This property has drive-on access with plenty of boat parking space + wash down area. The large fully enclosed private deck has an oversized BBQ table perfect for long lunches & family meals overlooking the water. Within a few minutes walk you will find an idyllic calm bay for paddle boarding, kayaking & boat launching. Mooring & dinghy available for use.
Our holiday home has 3 bedrooms, the master with an ensuite at the end of the deck which is separate from the house. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bunks. Bedroom 3 has bunk with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. This property is perfect for small groups or small families.
Sandy Bay is located approximately 10kms from Portage resort and 45 minutes from Linkwater. There is also access to the Queen Charlotte track via Torea/Portage or Punga Cove (for mountain biking or walking). Punga Cove (in the Queen Charlotte) is located approximately 20 minutes by car and provides some great dining options. For extended stays there is a rural delivery service for groceries or boat delivery to either Punga or Torea wharf.
