Summary: Kyle's place is excellent in a number of ways. Its location is spectacular - up a hill overlooking the Atlantic along Nova Scotia's South Shore, between Bridgewater and Liverpool. It's a sheltered part of that shore, so you see the LaHave Islands and the ocean beyond. It's a lovely two bedroom cottage full of light, where you have that ocean view all day long. It's a comfortable place with everything you would want for a family with a couple of kids, or two couples. And it's a short walk from the world class baked goods, coffee, sandwiches and artisanal chocolate at the Ploughman's Lunch. And near the beautiful Crescent Beach and Risser's Beach. Our host Kyle was responsive and very helpful all round. We will definitely be back.

Summary: The location is wonderful with so much to do within minutes of the house. A highlight is Rissers Beach provincial Park less than 5 minutes away. The house is simple but comfortable with excellent wifi. It has a superb view of the LaHave islands and the water. The list of amenities needs updating as there is no microwave and the advertised laundry facilities were not available. (The washer is located in an unheated shed and had not been reconnected after the winter). All in all my dog and I had a lovely holiday.

Summary: We loved the cottage, with its peaceful atmosphere and fantastic views of Currie Cove from the main room. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable with good linens. We enjoyed the easy access to beaches in the area and loved the local businesses, including the Ploughman's Lunch (great coffees, sourdough bread and lunch sandwiches), the LaHave Bakery (exceptional cookies, coffees and tasty prepared meals!) and finally Cape LaHave Adventures for their amazing kayak tours. We will be back!!!

Summary: Had a lovely time despite Fiona. Very safe where we were and very beautiful. Loved Crescent Beach and surrounding area. Great spot to stay.

Summary: Everything went well with our stay here. Lovely spot, dog friendly area, great beaches. Lahave bakery also has home made frozen meals that could easily be heated up in oven. The crescent beach and riser beach were nearby. Lunenburg was a quick drive away. We would stay here again!
