A nice flat in Cihangir wih a view of historical peninsula and the sea.
The flat is 3 mins to Tram, 10 mins to Ferry stop and 15 mins to metro stop on foot. Bosphorus is a stone throw away.
The area is very hectic with restaurants, cafes amd shops.
There are litteraly everything in the house from bed sheets to cookware. There is no need to bring any towels, shampoo and shower gels.
There is a smart TV, washing mashine, air conditioner in the house.

Summary: I had a wondefut time in this cute and friendly apartment. Lots of sunlight, spacious and had everything I needed for a great stay. The host took great care in decorating this apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The host was very helpful with all kinds of recommendations. I cannot say enough of what a lovely place this was. Istanbul is very hilly and i definitely got my workout going paces every day. I will miss this place and all the cats that I have befriended in the neigborhood. I can highly recommend this property.

Summary: My husband and i travelled from US to Bucharest, and then to Istanbul. The apartment is in a great location, close to many sights and markets. Emre was a wonderful host and quick to answer any questions. The apartment is on a very steep hill- like every other part of the city. We chose to look at it as a reason to eat more of the wonderful food, by burning many calories! The call to prayer, although it can be heard from the apartment, was not disruptive for us. Also- in a primarily Muslim country with MANY mosques, this could be heard throughout the city. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay!! Thank you Emre!!

Summary: Emre was caring, friendly and a great host. The unit was clean, with plenty of space, and was comfortable. The location, not so much. The apartment is halfway up a very steep hill on a narrow street, a steep long climb to go anywhere, and it was extremely noisy....loud unmuffled motorscooters and motorcycles going up and down the narrow hill street 24/7 including in the wee AM hours. The large thinish single pane windows might as well as been open- it sounded as if our bed was right in the middle of the narrow street with traffic driving around us. To make matters worse, there was is a mosque directly across the narrow street. Its speakers begin blaring out a call for prayer, that penetrates the thin window panes relentlessly at 5am. Good luck on sleeping through that. By no means a "Sea View", one can narrowly make out the distant harbor between trees and buildings in the distance... most of the panoramic view was of the narrow busy steep street and cars in the busy parking lot operation about 50-75ft from the windows...... don't walk around in pajamas unless the curtains are closed. Apart from these issues of access, location and noise, the unit itself would have been pleasant, although it is much smaller than the exaggerated impression given in the fisheye photos. We selected this unit because of the reviews, the pics, and the description which sounded awesome, despite being expensive. In hindsight, after staying there and seeing other units, I feel certain we could have found a comparable nice unit in a quieter and more accessible location at substantially lower cost.

Summary: Our stay at Emre’s flat was simply wonderful. The apartment is very well located and there are many lovely cafes near it. The place itself is beautifully kept - if you don’t fancy sitting at the roadside balcony to catch a glimpse of the Bosphorus, you can sit in the kitchen balcony for a peaceful, if overgrown, garden experience. Emre himself is a lovely host and will go out if his way to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend!

Summary: it was a nice place to stay. in the winter, when the trees are bare, you can see the water easily, lots of light, simple and functional kitchen and bath, high ceilings make it feel huge and open, was nice to just relax inside when id had enough walking in the rain. location makes it easy to walk to taksim or the galeta bridge, (if you dont mind some hills :). host was very communicative but not at all intrusive. would stay again.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at Emre's place, it is very centrally located, everything is in walking distance. The apartment is very stylishly decorated with high ceilings, big windows and cosy balconies. We stayed very short, but you can spend a month here, very well equipped. Emre is a fantastic host :) He helped us and responded to our every questions in a very short time. Overall we had a wonderful time here. It is a great place to make a base and see/enjoy Istanbul. We highly recommend it to all travelers.
