Welcome to Seaside Farmhouse! This 1920's farmhouse, recently fully renovated, is the perfect reason to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and book your escape here. Situated on 1.5 acres, there's plenty of amenities around the property to keep you busy (or relaxed!)- including a basketball court, horseshoes, cornhole, ping pong, foosball, relaxing on the hammock or lounging around the fire pit. There are 5 bedrooms and additional bedding accommodations for up to 15 guests! We are committed to making your stay a memory to last a lifetime. On the second floor, we have a bedroom with a twin over twin bunk bed, a room with a queen bed, and a room with a king bed. On the third floor, we have a room with a full bed, and a room with a queen over full trundle bed- there is also a grey floor mattress available and a sofa bed in the living room. Established between the bay and the ocean, we are located about 20 minutes from historic Cape Charles.

We utilize a third party communications app that automatically sends out a message once your booking is confirmed. It will ask you to sign our rental agreement regarding our house rules, capture a Government issued ID to verify age, and capture a credit card as a precautionary for any incidentals or damages that may incur. Once the agreement is signed, then you will receive the door pin code for entry on the day of check-in.
We also have NoiseAware installed in the home. This monitors noise decibels to ensure our noise control rule is abided during after hours.
There will be a $500 fine for those who decide to ignore our house rules and smoke in the house.
Living area, kitchen, full hall bathroom, dining room, ping pong table room are downstairs.
Bunk bed room, queen bed room, king bed room, washer/dryer, foosball table, and hall bathroom are on the second floor.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here! It was wonderful to have a place large enough to stay together during our holiday family gathering. The large dining room table accommodated all 12 of us comfortably and the basketball court and horseshoes were a plus, as well as the ping pong table.

Summary: The property is a good 25 minutes to Cape Charles, on a monotonous highway. It was stated in the description it was ten minutes from historic Cape Charles and in another section of the description it was stated that it was 15 minutes. There is not much to do in Nassawadox, except for a nature preserve, so you have to travel at least 25 minutes one way for even a grocery store. The house itself needs some help, there was significant water damage on the ceiling and walls in one of the bedrooms, the kitchen floor needs repair, rotting porch boards and wear and tear on throw rugs and upholstery to name a few. On a positive note the house was fairly clean and my contact with the property manager was pleasant.

Summary: We spent our memorial weekend here this year. We were skeptical at first as it was a new listing, but when we reached there we found a really clean and well managed place is waiting for us. We had family and friends also with us. We roamed around the local wildlife sanctuary, took a lot of photos, met a few friendly faces and to make it more awesome the weather was also really great. The community was so calm and welcoming. The communication was also prompt when we needed. Overall it was a trip to remember.
