Seawood is a light and airy suite with vaulted ceilings and spectacular ocean views from the expansive windows in every room. There is one bedroom with a king bed and a queen Murphy bed in the main living area. A well-equipped kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances is stocked with all the plates, glasses, cooking tools, and utensils you might need.
At the end of a day spent exploring the local trails, beaches, and forests, relax while barbecuing on the deck. Sip your favorite beverage and enjoy the spectacular sunset, relaxing by the fire table with the sound of the waves in your ears. Star gaze from the comfortable deck or bring your lawn chairs and watch from the beach.
It's only a short stroll through a magical forest to your own private beach. Bring down your morning coffee and watch magnificent Pacific gray whales pass by in the spring as they migrate to northern feeding grounds, returning again in the fall. Roaming pods of resident killer whales can also be seen offshore, as well as otters and sea lions. Truly, this is paradise.
Surrounded by nature and wildlife yet minutes from the local amenities and outdoor adventures of Sooke, BC, this beautiful property is a forty minute drive to BC's capital city, Victoria, and only an hour from the Victoria International Airport and Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Summary: This place is perfect for a couple or small family. The space is great, but nothing is better than the deck with the incredible view of the Salish Sea & the Olympic Mountains across the water. This is our second time here and we love every second. The home is beautifully appointed with everything you need, and thoughtful descriptions of how to use things or where to find what you need are everywhere. It’s a true dream spot!

Summary: We stayed for 4 nights at Seawood Oceanfront Suite. We loved the accommodation! Saw orcas, dolphins, seals, and deer from the balcony. They went the extra mile for us - I accidentally booked 3 nights instead of 4, and they made it easy for us to extend another night. Highly recommend!

Summary: If you are looking for a very beautiful place to stay, this is the one! We saw whales off the deck. We also would see seals about 30 times a day. The place is beautifully appointed. The owner considers your every want and need.

Summary: The property is the perfect get-away with unobstructed views of the water. The property is quietly nestled between mature trees and the water. A pathway exists to walk down to the private beach area. The reflection of the moon off the water warms the space with a gentle glow allowing a wonderful night's sleep. The area had everything you would need for a stay and the bed was supportive and comfortable. The town is just a few minutes away should you need some groceries. We traveled to Victoria twice during our stay exploring the capital and Butchart Gardens. The country is very friendly and we felt safe everywhere we traveled.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Seawood. Everything was exactly as shown on VRBO. One of the better VRBO's we have stayed at and they had all the little extras which was really nice. We will stay here again and hopefully the weather is better, but lots to do and see when the tide is out, great exploring. The only reason I gave 4 stars for location is Sooke grocery stores were super expensive so bring most your food with you. :)

Summary: What an amazing property. The views are endless and so relaxing. We felt comfortable for our week long stay. Beds and bedding were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Love the Nespresso machine and coffee pods. Would most certainly return the next time we visit the island.
